Lake Creek (Montgomery, Texas) has made a case all season long that it should be considered the top-ranked team in the MaxPreps Top 25 high school softball rankings.


The Lions capped a perfect 41-0 season defeating nationally ranked Georgetown 7-0 to take home the school's first Texas 5A state championship. Florida commit Ava Brown showed why she's not only one the top juniors but also one of the top players in the nation holding Georgetown to one hit in the complete-game shutout.
