Conor McGregor has been fined $150,000 for his involvement in the water bottle throwing incident in Las Vegas ahead of UFC 202, the Nevada State Athletic Commission announced on Monday.

After much deliberation, NSAC determined to fine McGregor five percent of his UFC 202 purse ($150,000) for the actions and ordered him to serve 50 hours of community service as well as participate in an anti-bullying campaign.

McGregor and foe Nate Diaz were getting into a heated argument at their press conference in Las Vegas when Diaz decided to get up and walk out of the arena. The two, along with Diaz's group of cohorts, exchanged cuss words at one another before the first water bottle was thrown. McGregor then fired back by grabbing anything he could off the stage, including a Monster energy drink can, and chucking it at Diaz.
