Borghi was waived by the Steelers on Tuesday, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.

Steelers' Max Borghi: Lands with Pittsburgh
The Steelers signed Borghi on Thursday.
Borghi will head to Pittsburgh just two days after being waived by the Broncos. The undrafted rookie out of Washington State totaled four carries for 10 yards during Denver's preseason opener Saturday. The Broncos waived Borghi on Tuesday, Troy Renck of Denver 7 News reports.
Borghi participated with the Broncos during rookie minicamp but didn't earn a contract until the start of August, when Damarea Crockett (knee) tore his ACL. The undrafted product out of Washington State will have to look elsewhere for a new NFL opportunity, but he posted 880 yards and 12 rushing touchdowns during his senior season in 2021 so he may garner some interest from around the league.... Borghi signed with the Broncos on Wednesday, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
Borghi participated in rookie minicamp with the Broncos in June. While he didn't receive a contract at the time, the team opted to bring Borghi in as a depth option after Damarea Crockett (knee) tore his ACL on Tuesday.
