When the Raiders added running back Kenyan Drake in the offseason, many thought the former Cardinal would form a dynamic one-two punch alongside Josh Jacobs. Neither of those players currently leads the team in rushing, however, as that honor goes to Peyton Barber, who was signed just days before Week 1. Las Vegas now has a running back committee, which can create a quandary when making your NFL DFS picks. Figuring out which player will get the bulk of touches on Monday Night Football will go a long way in crafting a winning NFL DFS strategy.

Can Jacobs (questionable, ankle) bounce back from his recent absence and reclaim his role as the Raiders' lead back? Will Barber continue to shine in his place and be a must-start for NFL DFS lineups? Before locking in your NFL DFS strategy for Monday Night Football, be sure to check out the NFL DFS advice, player rankings, stacks and top daily Fantasy football picks from SportsLine's Mike McClure.

McClure is a legendary professional DFS player with almost $2 million in career winnings. His methodology has led to enormous cashes on FanDuel and DraftKings. He took down two high-stakes tournaments on FanDuel in 2020 and recorded a pair top-10 finishes in tournaments with over 130,000 entrants on DraftKings. His lineups also finished inside the top 1 percent in more than a dozen other tournaments last season.

He uses a powerful prediction model that simulates every snap of NFL action, taking factors such as matchups, statistical trends and injuries into account. This allows him to find the best DFS values that he shares only with members at SportsLine.

Now, McClure has turned his attention to Chargers vs. Raiders and locked in his top daily Fantasy football picks. You can only see them by heading to SportsLine.

Top NFL DFS picks for Raiders vs. Chargers

One of McClure's top NFL DFS picks for Monday Night Football is Raiders receiver Henry Ruggs III, who has racked up 200 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown over the last two weeks. On the season, the 2020 first-rounder leads Vegas with 237 receiving yards to go along with 11 receptions and a score.

Raiders coaches talked up Ruggs' progress during the offseason and he's backed up that talk. He's gone over 75 receiving yards in back-to-back games after having just two such games all of last year. The Raiders are creatively finding ways to utilize Ruggs' game-breaking speed, a big reason why quarterback Derek Carr leads the NFL in passing yards. Ruggs does most of his damage in between the 20s, but he has a strong chance at finding the end zone on Monday Night Football against a Chargers team that allowed three passing touchdowns last week.

Part of McClure's optimal NFL DFS strategy also includes rostering Chargers running back Austin Ekeler, who is coming off 55 rushing yards, 52 receiving yards and a touchdown in Week 3. Ekeler is one of seven players in the NFL with over 100 rushing and 100 receiving yards this season.

The Raiders allowed over 130 yards on the ground last week as well as giving up two rushing touchdowns. Their five rushing touchdowns allowed this year are the fourth-most in the league as all three of their opponents have found the end zone on the ground. With the Raiders' leaky run defense and Ekeler's all-around abilities, he is a must-start for NFL DFS lineups.
