  • Lawrence recorded four tackles (three solo) including a sack and added a pass defended in Saturday's win over the Eagles. The veteran pass rusher was a force once again for the Cowboys, and missing 10 games earlier in the season to injury may have served to keep Lawrence fresh for the playoffs. Over the last five games, he's racked up 14 tackles, three sacks, three passes defended, a forced fumble and an INT he returned for a touchdown, giving him plenty of momentum heading into Sunday's wild-card round matchup against the 49ers.

  • Lawrence recorded two solo tackles, a sack, a pass breakup and a pick-six in Sunday's 56-14 win over Washington. This was Lawrence's first career touchdown. The 29-year-old missed time this year with a foot injury and has played just five games, but he's made quite an impact with 16 tackles (13 solo), four pass breakups, two sacks, two forced fumbles and a pick-six. Teaming up with rookie Micah Parsons and Randy Gregory makes this a daunting pass rush for opposing offenses to handle.

  • Lawrence had two solo tackles and one sack during Sunday's divisional win over Washington. Lawrence played 68 percent of defensive snaps in his third appearance of the season, and he managed to tally his first sack. Though a foot injury forced Lawrence to miss 10 games, he has managed to return to full strength in time to assist Dallas' defense as a key pass rusher down the stretch.

  • Lawrence (foot) was activated from IR on Thursday, Rob Phillips of the Cowboys' official site reports. This move was expected, but it's still a key development, as it officially paves the way for Lawrence to suit up Thursday evening against the Saints. Lawrence has been practicing but will have some rust to shake off since he hasn't played since the season opener, so he'll likely need a few games to ramp up to his usual level of playing time.

  • Cowboys team owner Jerry Jones said Tuesday that Lawrence (foot) "has had a good week" and will play Thursday versus the Saints, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports. The Cowboys haven't yet officially taken Lawrence off IR, but such a transaction appears imminent. The defensive end hasn't played since Week 1 due to a foot injury, for which he underwent surgery, so it's possible he could have his snap count managed upon retaking the field.
