Cowboys' Chuma Edoga: Suffers ankle injury in win
Edoga (ankle) left in the second half of Sunday's 43-20 win over the Rams, K.D. Drummond of USA Today reports. Edoga had to be carted off the field in the second half after injuring his right ankle and he was replaced by 2023 fifth-round pick Asim Richards. Edoga has filled in at left tackle in the absence of Tyron Smith (neck), and his injury status should be monitored ahead of the Cowboys' Week 9 matchup against the divisional rival Eagles.... Edoga (elbow) was a full participant at the Cowboys' practice Thursday, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports. Edoga went down with an elbow injury in the team's 30-10 win over the Jets in Week 2, but he appears ready to go for Sunday's contest with Arizona. Cowboys' Chuma Edoga: Suffers an elbow injury
Edoga suffered an elbow injury and did not return to the Cowboys' 30-10 win over the Jets on Sunday, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports. Edoga was spotted with a wrap on his elbow as T.J. Bass replaced him at left guard in the second half. After the game, owner Jerry Jones said he doesn't think the injury is significant, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports. Chuma Edoga: Let go by Dallas
The Cowboys released Edoga on Tuesday, Nick Harris of the Cowboys' official site reports. Edoga spent the 2022 campaign with the Falcons but appeared in just two games and finished the year on injured reserve with a knee issue. Only 2nd round pick Marshawn Kneeland remains unsigned.

Handful of vets eligible as well: Earl Bostick, Josh Butler, Princeton Fant, Durrell Johnson, Jalen Cropper but unclear if they will take part. But process begins.
