Last year's fourth-place finish in Italian Serie A prompted Juventus to make a managerial change to Massimiliano Allergi. However, the club has failed to reach the high water mark from 2020-21 at any point yet this season. On Saturday, Juve takes on an Udinese club that shocked them with a come-from-behind 2-2 draw in the season-opener, but Juventus needs to take a positive result to keep pace with the clubs at the top of the league table. You can see what happens when you stream the game live on Paramount+.

Kickoff from the Allianz Stadium in Turin, Italy, is set for 2:45 p.m. ET. Caesars Sportsbook lists Juventus as the -280 favorite (risk $280 to win $100) on the 90-minute money line in the latest Juventus vs. Udinese odds. Italian Serie A picks for Udinese vs. Juventus

Before tuning into Saturday's match, you need to see the Juventus vs. Udinese picks from European soccer insider Martin Green. After working in the sports betting industry for several years, Green became a professional sports writer and handicapper and has covered the game worldwide. Since then, his European soccer picks have been spot-on. Green has generated over $37,000 for $100 bettors since the 2017-18 season, and he has his finger on the pulse of the game all over the globe.

For Udinese vs. Juventus, Green is backing Juventus at -1.25. This means that bettors win if Juventus is victorious by two-or-more goals. If the margin of victory is only one goal, bettors return half of what they risked.

Beyond the perceived gap in class between the clubs, Udinese has had to deal with COVID-19 infections within its ranks. The impact of the disruptions on its roster was evident in the team's most recent result, a 6-2 loss to Atalanta on January 9.

The task for Udinese this weekend seems all the more arduous, considering Juventus' strong defensive play in Serie A this season. Juventus has lost five matches, and nearly 40 percent of the total goals it has conceded this year have come just in those fixtures. Additionally, the Bianconeri has won five of its last nine league matches by at least two goals. Udinese starting center back Rodrigo Becao will miss the match on a yellow card suspension, which figures to be a crucial loss against a top club like Juventus.

"Juventus has scored fewer goals than any other team in the top eight of Serie A, but it also has the third best defensive record in the league," Green told SportsLine. "Juventus has won its last five home games against Udinese, and it should fight through the fatigue to clinch an important win on Saturday."
