Lindsay had one carry for minus-3 yards and played just two snaps in Sunday's 22-13 win over the Titans.
Lindsay appears to have fallen down the depth chart, as David Johnson (35 snaps) and Rex Burkhead (27) were the preferred backs on a rain-soaked field in Nashville. His lone carry came in the red zone, the first play after Houston linebacker Kamu Grugier-Hill intercepted a Ryan Tannehill pass and returned it 82 yards to the Titans' six-yard line. That was it for Lindsay. Johnson's been used primarily as a receiving back, but his 13 carries and 35 snaps were season highs. Burkhead had been a non-factor all season until Week 11. That uncertainty in the backfield suggests Lindsay being third on the depth chart could be a temporary development, although the recently signed Royce Freeman could also be a factor at some point. Johnson and Burkhead combined for 1.9 yards per carry (31 carries, 58 yards), so there could chances for Lindsay down the road.
