Phillip Lindsay: Let go from practice squad

The Colts cut Lindsay from the practice squad Thursday.

Lindsay was activated from the practice squad Week 9 versus New England, but Indianapolis' new coaching staff has already decided to part ways with the veteran running back in favor of Jake Funk. Now, Lindsay will likely have to search for a practice squad opportunity elsewhere in the league.
