The Bills signed Harris on Monday, Maddy Glab of BuffaloBills.com reports.
Harris injured his groin Aug. 4 and was subsequently moved to injured reserve by the 49ers after clearing waivers. On Aug. 12, the 2019 sixth-round pick reached an injury settlement with San Francisco, allowing him to latch on with Buffalo before Saturday's preseason finale against the Packers. Harris spent all of 2019 on injured reserve with a groin injury and appeared in just two games for the 49ers last year -- registering 18 special teams snaps and zero tackles.

Harris spent his entire rookie campaign on IR back in 2019, and in 2020 he was limited to just two appearances. Missing a significant portion of training camp could put the 2019 sixth-round pick's roster spot in jeopardy.

Harris will return to team activities, and, considering the 49ers' secondary has a serious injury bug, there's a reasonable chance he gets elevated for Week 5.
