McKissic (concussion) wasn't seen on the field during the open portion of Friday's practice, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.

McKissic appears headed toward his third straight missed practice after suffering the concussion in Monday's win over the Seahawks. The 28-year-old will need to fully clear the five-step concussion protocol before being able to participate in full contact work, which is unlikely to happen ahead of Sunday's matchup with the Raiders. If McKissic is sidelined this week, Wendell Smallwood could be promoted from the practice squad to offer another pass-catching option out of the backfield, though lead back Antonio Gibson is also likely to absorb some of McKissic's passing-down responsibilities.
