We’re just hours removed from crowning North Carolina as the 2017 national champion. The Tar Heels ousted Gonzaga 71-65 in Glendale, Arizona on Monday night to win their sixth national title in a fun-filled, dramatic finish to perfectly cap off a spectacular NCAA Tournament.

Now, the college basketball season is officially over. But it’s never too early to look ahead to next season and see which teams Vegas figures have the best shot to win it all. As you might expect, it’s the same usual suspects at the top of the list.

The college basketball bluebloods are the overwhelming favorites according to the freshly released odds. At the top, the Kentucky Wildcats stand alone as the favorites with 10-to-1 odds.

John Calipari’s team is likely to lose not only De’Aaron Fox, who declared for the NBA Draft on Monday, but also freshman sharpshooter Malik Monk -- both of which led the team in scoring for the 32-6 Wildcats this season.

Still yet, they have recruited better than any team in the country. Kentucky has the No. 1 ranked recruiting class according to 247Sports, bringing in not one, not two, not three .... but FIVE 5-star recruits to help reload as only Kentucky can do.
