  • Seahawks' Charles Cross: Unavailable for walkthrough

Cross (hamstring) was considered a non-participant at Monday's walkthrough practice, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. Cross sustained a hamstring injury in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 18-16 win over the Colts, and he has now opened the week on the sidelines at practice. The offensive lineman will have two more chances to return to practice prior to Thursday night's matchup with the Rams.

Cross (finger) wasn't listed on Seattle's injury report Wednesday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports. Cross has been injured since undergoing surgery to repair a dislocated finger in July but is seemingly back at full health. The 24-year-old is slated to return to his role as the team's starting left tackle once the regular season begins on Sunday.

  • Seahawks' Charles Cross: Fifth-year option picked up

The Seahawks exercised Cross' fifth-year option Monday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Cross will now be tied to Seattle through the 2026 campaign after having been selected ninth overall by the team in the 2022 Draft. • Seahawks' Charles Cross: Unavailable Monday

Cross (toe) has been ruled out for Monday's matchup with the Giants. Cross will be unavailable for a third straight contest while he continues to nurse a toe injury he suffered in the season opener. • Seahawks' Charles Cross: Doubtful Monday

Cross (toe) is listed as doubtful ahead of Monday night's game against the Giants, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. The ninth overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft will likely miss his third consecutive game as he continues to recover from the toe injury he suffered during Seattle's Week 1 loss to the Rams. If Cross does miss Monday night's contest, Stone Forsythe is expected to continue filling in at left tackle.

  • Seahawks' Charles Cross: Misses practice Wednesday

Cross (toe) did not participate at Seattle's practice Wednesday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. Cross was forced to miss the Seahawks' first practice of the week after being carted off the field in Week 1 with a sprained toe. Head coach Pete Carroll said Wednesday that the offensive lineman is "hurting" and that it's going to be a "challenge" for him to play in Week 2, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports. Fellow offensive tackle Abraham Lucas (kneecap) was placed on injured reserve while veteran Jason Peters was signed to the practice squad earlier this week.
