Player Outlook
Jhonny Level is an undersized 5-foot-10 shortstop with short levers and an excellent track record of hitting against rookie-level pitching. He had a 143 wRC+ as a 17-year-old in the Dominican Summer League and a 121 wRC+ as an 18-year-old in the Arizona Complex League. Level struggled after getting the bump to Single-A, slashing .236/.333/.339 with three home runs, four steals and a 20.4 percent strikeout rate in 31 games. Level's arm might be his only plus tool, and he has a shot to stick at shortstop if he maintains his current range and mobility. Sticking at the six would take some pressure off his bat, as he might be more of a tweener if he has to move to second or third base.
