Haliburton has been ruled out ahead of Tuesday's game against the Cavaliers due to a mild left groin strain, Dustin Dopirak of The Indianapolis Star reports.
Head coach Carlisle says Haliburton will "likely be listed day-to-day," after the Pacers previously attributed the point guard's early departure from Sunday's 108-93 win over Cleveland to left hamstring tightness. With Haliburton out for at least one game, the Pacers will move Ben Sheppard into the starting five, according to Tony East of WTHR Channel 13 Indianapolis. While Sheppard should see a boost in minutes as a result, most of the playmaking opportunities are likely to fall to Andrew Nembhard and T.J. McConnell while Haliburton is out.
