Putney ended with 10 points (5-11 FG, 0-5 3Pt), 14 rebounds and a block across 17 minutes off the bench in Sunday's win over Westchester.
Putney was picked up by Iowa only a few days ago but already made his presence felt on both ends of the court. The veteran is averaging 9.0 points and 6.7 rebounds per game in his first three appearances with Iowa.

Raphiael Putney: Picked up by G League Iowa
The G League Wolves acquired Putney on Thursday.
Putney was cut loose by the Red Ants after a one-week run with the team in mid-February, but it appears he's found a new home for the time being. It remains to be seen if the 30-year-old will take the floor with his new club after failing to do so with Fort Wayne.

Putney was waived by the Mad Ants on Wednesday, Scott Agness of FieldhouseFiles.com reports.
The 30-year-old was signed by the team last week, but it ended up being a short stay with Fort Wayne. Putney should return to the available player pool within the G League bubble in Orlando.

Putney spent 2019 playing overseas in Hungary but has elected to stay home for this season and has found a spot with the Mad Ants in the G League's bubble. His role with the club should come into focus as the season rolls along.

Raphiael Putney: Scores 29 off bench
Putney posted 29 points (9-17 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 8-9 FT), five rebounds, one assist, four steals and two blocked shots in the Skyforce's 130-117 loss to the Blue on Sunday.
Putney led the Skyforce in scoring Sunday but failed to turn in a positive plus/minus, finishing with a -10. Outscoring the entire starting lineup despite only playing for about 28 minutes is impressive for the fourth-year G League veteran who averages 16.1 points per game this season, and he shot for over 50 percent from the field, showing good efficiency. Outside of scoring, though, Putney didn't contribute much. Putting up points was all Putney could do against the Blue, and it wasn't enough to swing the game in Sioux Falls' favor.

Raphiael Putney: Continues to amass double-doubles
Putney finished the loss Wednesday to the Stars with 21 points (8-16 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 3-3 FT), 15 rebounds, four assists, two steals and a blocked shot.
Putney's production has surged throughout the month of January, as the big man has seen his per game scoring average (15.8) and rebounding figures (8.5) rise to season highs in recent weeks. A walking double-double when he plays more than 30 minutes, Putney has thrived during Yante Maten's month-long absence and figures to still have a prominent role with the Skyforce once the star forward returns.

Putney posted 20 points (4-8 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 10-10 FT), 10 rebounds, three assists, three blocks and two steals in the win Wednesday over Iowa.
The G League veteran isn't quite matching his career scoring numbers, but he's countering that by shooting a higher free throw percentage and recording more rebounds than at any other point of his career. The 29-year-old likely isn't poised for a shot in the NBA, but there's a distinct possibility he could muscle his way into the starting lineup with continually strong performances.

Putney scored 15 points (6-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and collected five rebounds across 21 minutes Friday against Stockton.
Putney has been impressive for the Skyforce so far this season, averaging 14.4 points along with 8.6 rebounds and 1.5 assists and 2.1 blocks in 27 contests. He's also shooting 43.0 percent from the field but has struggled to a 28.4 percent success rate from beyond the arc.

Raphiael Putney: Crosses 30-point threshold
Putney piled on 32 points, five rebounds and two assists in the win Monday over the Stars.
It was an explosive contest altogether, as the two teams combined to attempt 181 shots. Putney tied for the team-lead in attemps with Rodney Purvis, but it was the former who ultimately posted a higher three-point percentage (8-of-11 3Pt) thus resulting in game-high 32 points despite playing nearly 10 less minutes.
