  • Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Posts inefficient double-double

Cunningham finished Tuesday's 113-109 loss to the Cavaliers with 10 points (4-16 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, 14 assists, one block and one steal in 39 minutes. It was the fifth time this season that Cunningham logged at least 14 assists in a game, but the fifth-year pro struggled with his shot all night and barely cracked double digits in the scoring column. Regardless of his struggles from the floor Tuesday, Cunningham is still putting together a strong, All-NBA-caliber season. He has averaged 24.5 points, 10.3 assists, 6.5 rebounds, 2.1 threes, 1.6 steals and 1.3 blocks over 34.2 minutes per game since Feb. 1.

  • Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Collects another double-double

Cunningham closed with 29 points (11-25 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 5-6 FT), six rebounds, 11 assists and two steals in 37 minutes during Sunday's 106-92 victory over the Magic. The double-double was the All-Star point guard's 33rd through 53 games in 2025-26. Cunningham is riding a six-game double-double streak, averaging 26.5 points, 11.2 assists, 7.2 rebounds, 1.8 steals and 1.8 blocks in 35.9 minutes per tilt during this stretch. Although the MVP race is likely to come down to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Nikola Jokic, Cunningham is certainly worthy of some consideration.

  • Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Double-doubles with six stocks

Cunningham ended Wednesday's 124-116 win over the Thunder with 29 points (11-16 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five rebounds, 13 assists, three blocks and three steals in 38 minutes. This was a nice bounce-back performance for Cunningham, who was held to just 16 points on 5-for-26 shooting in Monday's loss to the Spurs. He was dialed in from the jump, missing only one shot through the first half of action, and Cunningham notched his 31st double-double of the season in the win.

  • Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Comes close to triple-double

Cunningham chipped in 18 points (7-16 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), nine rebounds, 13 assists, three blocks and one steal in 30 minutes during Saturday's 126-110 win over Chicago. Cunningham didn't have his best shooting performance, but he was still an impact player for the Pistons in what turned out to be a comfortable road win for Detroit. In fact, Cunningham could have ended with a triple-double had he not left the game midway through the fourth quarter when the outcome was essentially decided. Cunningham has failed to reach the 20-point mark in three of his last eight appearances, but even when that happens, he's impactful enough to leave his mark in other areas of the game. He has seven double-doubles over his last 12 outings.

  • Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Shines at Madison Square Garden

Cunningham posted 42 points (17-34 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 3-3 FT), 13 assists, eight rebounds, two blocks and one steal over 38 minutes during the Pistons' 126-111 win over the Knicks on Thursday. The East-leading Pistons picked up where they left off from the All-Star break, with their superstar point guard leading the way. It was the third time this season that Cunningham scored 40-plus points and his sixth game with at least 13 dimes, and the 2021 No. 1 overall pick was two rebounds shy from recording his fourth triple-double of the regular season. He has averaged 27.3 points, 9.4 assists, 6.1 rebounds, 2.4 threes, 1.4 steals and 1.0 blocks over 32.7 minutes per game since Feb. 1.

  • Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Scores 28 points efficiently

Cunningham generated 28 points (9-14 FG, 6-11 3Pt, 4-6 FT), seven rebounds, nine assists, three steals and one block across 30 minutes of Wednesday's 113-95 win over Toronto. Cunningham hit the 25-point threshold for the 28th time this season, and it took him just 14 shots to get there. He had attempted 15 or more field goals in each of the other 27 occurrences. Cunningham also tied his season high in three-pointers made. In his last 10 appearances, Cunningham is averaging 25.5 points, 9.3 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 1.5 steals.

  • Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Drops 30 points in loss

Cunningham ended with 30 points (10-21 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 10-13 FT), eight rebounds, eight assists and one block over 37 minutes during Thursday's 126-117 loss to Washington. Cunningham couldn't find the bottom of the net from beyond the arc. However, he performed well enough elsewhere to reach the 30-point threshold for the first time since Jan. 1. Cunningham's double-double streak came to an end at three games after being held to eight assists, though it's hard to be disappointed in his strong production across the board.

Cunningham (hip) is available for Sunday's game against the Nets. Cunningham was previously listed as probable while dealing with right hip soreness but will be available Sunday. • Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Probable for Friday

Cunningham is probable for Friday's game against the Warriors with right hip soreness. Cunningham logged 34 minutes Thursday against the Suns and walked away with a minor knock. For now, the expectation is that he will push through it for the second leg of this back-to-back set.

  • Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Drops team-high 26 in Phoenix

Cunningham recorded a team-high 26 points (8-22 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 8-10 FT), three rebounds, seven assists and three steals over 34 minutes during Thursday's 114-96 loss to the Suns. The fifth-year star appears to be fully recovered from a sore wrist and a bruised hip that contributed to a mid-January swoon, scoring more than 20 points in three straight games and delivering double-doubles in two of them. Through 10 games this month, Cunningham is averaging 21.8 points, 9.8 assists, 3.9 boards, 1.5 steals, 1.5 threes and 1.1 blocks despite shooting just 40.9 percent from the floor and 29.4 percent from beyond the arc.

  • Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Leads Detroit in road win

Cunningham ended Tuesday's 109-107 win over the Nuggets with 22 points (9-17 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three rebounds, 11 assists and one block in 36 minutes. Cunningham registered his 24th double-double of the season during the win in Denver, and he ranks fourth in the NBA in that category. His 22 points matched Tobias Harris for the team-high mark to go along with 11 dimes and zero turnovers. Cunningham has double-digit assists in four of his past six games and at least one block in four straight.

  • Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Good to go Sunday

Cunningham (wrist) is available for Sunday's game against the Kings. As expected, Cunningham will shed his probable tag due to right wrist injury management and suit up in his second consecutive contest. The star guard has struggled with efficiency of late, averaging 13.5 points, 9.5 assists, 2.8 rebounds and 1.0 blocks while shooting just 30.0 percent from the field in 34.3 minutes per game over his last four appearances.

  • Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Probable to play Sunday

Cunningham is probable for Sunday's game against the Kings due to right wrist injury management. Cunningham missed a game Wednesday against the Pelicans due to an illness and a bruised hip, but it's another injury that has landed him on the report ahead of Sunday's contest. The star guard still seems likely to play Sunday without restrictions, but he may not be officially cleared until shortly before the game's 3 p.m. ET tipoff.

  • Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Questionable for Wednesday

Cunningham (illness) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Pelicans. Cunningham was a very late addition to the injury report, which is usually an ominous sign for fantasy hoops. If the Pistons end up holding out their franchise player, the team may rely more on Jaden Ivey, with Ausar Thompson possibly seeing more usage.

  • Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Chips in 16 points in victory

Cunningham contributed 16 points (6-14 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five assists and three rebounds across 21 minutes in Saturday's 121-76 win over the Pacers. Cunningham shook off a probable tag due to a right wrist contusion to suit up in this one. He logged just over 21 minutes and didn't play in the fourth quarter as Detroit jumped out to a sizable early lead against a banged-up Indiana squad. Still, the star point guard tied the team highs in points and assists. Through five appearances this month, Cunningham is averaging 22.6 points, 9.4 assists, 4.8 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 1.2 blocks in 33.0 minutes per game.

  • Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Gets green light Saturday

Cunningham (wrist) will play Saturday against the Pacers. Cunningham will shed a probable tag to take the court Saturday evening. He'll aim to bounce back from a tough scoring night Thursday against the Suns, when he finished with 10 points on 3-for-16 shooting from the field in 38 minutes.

  • Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Good to go for Thursday

Cunningham (wrist) will play Thursday against the Suns. After missing the past two games with a wrist issue, Cunningham no longer appears on Detroit's injury report. With this news, Jaden Ivey will likely retreat to the bench, with Daniss Jenkins likely to be less involved for Detroit's backcourt.

  • Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Won't play Wednesday

Cunningham (wrist) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game versus the Bulls, Keith Langlois of the Pistons' official site reports. This will be Cunningham's first missed game since November, but his absence from the active roster should open up minutes for Daniss Jenkins, Jaden Ivey and Caris LeVert. The good news is that the Pistons don't play again until Saturday versus the Clippers, giving Cunningham a full three days to rest his bruised right wrist.

  • Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Nursing wrist injury

Cunningham is listed as probable for Wednesday's game against the Bulls due to a right wrist contusion. Cunningham may have picked up the injury during the Pistons' 121-90 win over the Knicks on Monday, when he tallied 29 points, 13 assists, three rebounds, two blocks and one steal over 29 minutes. The probable tag indicates that the injury isn't considered a long-term issue, and the All-Star guard should be available for Wednesday's game barring a setback.

  • Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Scores 27 points inefficiently

Cunningham generated 27 points (7-22 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 11-11 FT), six rebounds, seven assists, two steals and one block across 37 minutes of Sunday's 114-110 win over the Cavaliers. Cunningham went cold from the field, knocking down just 31.8 percent of his attempts. However, his ability to consistently get to the free-throw line allowed him to eclipse the 25-point threshold for a fifth straight game. During that stretch, he's averaging 28.2 points, 11.0 assists, 5.8 rebounds and 2.6 combined steals-plus-blocks.
