  • Chiefs' Marlon Tuipulotu: Staying in Kansas City

Tuipulotu agreed to a contract with the Chiefs on Wednesday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports. Tuipulotu signed to the Chiefs' 53-man roster in early September after being cut by the Eagles after training camp in late August. He made his lone appearances for Kansas City in Weeks 17 and 18, registering four tackles (two solo). By re-signing with Kansas City, Tuipulotu will have an opportunity to compete for a rotational role at defensive tackle in 2025.

  • Chiefs' Marlon Tuipulotu: Lands on IR, done for season

The Chiefs placed Tuipulotu (undisclosed) on injured reserve Friday. It's not clear what issue Tuipulotu is dealing with, but he's not eligible to play again this season regardless of how deep the Chiefs advance in the playoffs. The fourth-year defensive tackle played in Kansas City's final two games of the regular season, tallying four tackles (two solo). Tuipulotu signed a one-year contract with Kansas City last September and will be a free agent at the conclusion of the current campaign.

  • Eagles' Marlon Tuipulotu: Full participant Wednesday

Tuipulotu (triceps) was listed as a full participant for Philadelphia's walk-through Wednesday. Tuipulotu has missed the past two weeks with a triceps injury but is now trending toward making his return. The 24-year-old could be in line for more playing time versus the Dolphins on Sunday with both Jalen Carter (ankle) and Milton Williams (ankle) dealing with injuries.

  • Eagles' Marlon Tuipulotu: Out Sunday

Tuipulotu (triceps) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Rams, Tim McManus of ESPN.com reports. Tuipulotu did not practice Friday due to a triceps issue, and he's since been ruled out of Sunday's contest. The 24-year-old serves as a rotational defensive lineman for Philadelphia, and his role will likely be filled by Kentavius Street and Moro Ojomo this weekend.

  • Eagles' Marlon Tuipulotu: Active at practice

Tuipulotu was an active participant at practice Thursday, Josh Tolentino of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Tuipulotu suffered a torn Achilles during a Week 10 loss to the Commanders last year and finished out the season on IR. Now healthy, the 24-year-old should boost the team's defensive line in 2023.

  • Eagles' Marlon Tuipulotu: Lands on IR

Philadelphia placed Tuipulotu on injured reserve Wednesday with a knee injury. Tuipulotu presumably picked up the injury during the Eagles' 32-21 loss to the Commanders on Monday. He'll now be forced to miss the next four games after being placed on IR. The losses of Tuipulotu and fellow defensive tackle jordan Davis (ankle) to IR spurred the Eagles to bring aboard veteran Linval Joseph on a one-year deal Wednesday.
