Daniel Williams: Waived by Seahawks
Williams was waived by the Seahawks on Wednesday, Curtis Crabtree of Sports Radio 950 KJR Seattle reports.
Williams went undrafted in 2017 and proceeded to bounce around several team's practice squads the past two seasons. He was scooped up by Seattle last week, but will now be looking for a new opportunity once again.

Williams inked an undisclosed contract with the Seahawks on Wednesday, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.
Williams spent the tail-end of 2018 with the Browns' practice squad before he was cut in February. The 23-year-old wideout has yet to suit up for an NFL game since going undrafted in 2017, and will now battle for a depth role on a young but emerging receiving core.

Williams signed a reserve/future contract with Jets in January but was subsequently waived in April. The second-year receiver out of Jackson State did not play a game last season after a concussion abruptly ended his training camp. Williams will vie for a roster spot on the bottom of the Redskins' wide receiver depth chart.

The wideout from Jackson State didn't play a game in his rookie season, so he may look for opportunity elsewhere to battle for a special teams spot. Williams racked up 184 receptions for 2,497 yards and 19 touchdowns in his college career.

Williams signed with the Jets last spring after going undrafted out of Jackson State, but sustained a concussion in training camp and didn't survive final roster cuts. Now back to full health, Williams will look to earn a spot on the bottom of a largely unsettled depth chart at wide receiver.
