  • Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown: Closes season with flourish

St. Brown secured 11 of 15 targets for 139 yards in the Lions' 19-16 win over the Bears on Sunday. St. Brown shook off a questionable designation due to a knee injury and put together one of his best performances of the season, as he was targeted early and often by Jared Goff. The star receiver comfortably paced the Lions in receptions, receiving yards and targets, recording his second-highest tallies of the season in the first and third categories in the process. St. Brown is essentially blameless in Detroit's surprising failure to reach the postseason, as the 2021 fourth-round pick recorded 117 receptions for 1,401 yards and 11 touchdowns and added three carries for nine yards across 17 games. St. Brown will naturally serve as a centerpiece of the Lions' air attack again in 2026.

  • Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown: Active in Week 18

St. Brown (knee) is active for Sunday's Week 18 matchup against the Bears. St. Brown carried a questionable tag into Sunday due to a knee injury that led to him logging just a pair of limited practices during Week 18 prep. However, head coach Dan Campbell said Friday his star wideout was trending in the right direction for active status, and St. Brown's availability for the regular-season finale is now confirmed. St. Brown has already exceeded the 100-catch threshold for the fourth straight season, but he has a chance to set a new career high in touchdown receptions with a pair of scoring grabs against his division rival Sunday.

  • Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown: Listed as questionable

St. Brown (knee/ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Bears. St. Brown took a hard hit near the end of last week's loss to Minnesota, but it sounds like that's unrelated to a knee injury that's been bothering him for at least the past few games. He was a limited practice participant Thursday and Friday, with Lions coach Dan Campbell telling reporters Friday afternoon that St. Brown was "trending the right way" to play. The Lions and Bears are scheduled for a 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff Sunday.

  • Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown: Trending in right direction

Lions coach Dan Campbell said Friday that St. Brown (knee/ankle) is "trending the right way" to play Sunday at Chicago, Nolan Bianchi of The Detroit News reports. On the other hand, Campbell said star right tackle Penei Sewell (ankle) isn't likely to play in the season finale. St. Brown returned to practice Thursday as a limited participant, giving him a chance to play in all 17 of Detroit's regular-season games for the third time in his five-year career.

  • Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown: Logs limited practice Thursday

St. Brown (knee/ankle) was limited at Thursday's practice. St. Brown sat out Wednesday's practice due to knee and ankle injuries, the former of which has been described by coach Dan Campbell as "irritation." In the Lions' Week 17 loss at Minnesota, St. Brown handled his typical 83 percent snap share en route to eight catches (on 13 targets) for 68 yards. Friday's injury report will unveil whether or not he enters the weekend with a designation for Sunday's game in Chicago.

  • Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown: Considered day-to-day

St. Brown (knee) is considered day-to-day ahead of Sunday's regular-season finale on the road at Chicago, Eric Woodyard of ESPN.com reports. St. Brown dealt with irritation in his knee leading up to last Thursday's 23-10 loss to the Vikings in which he secured eight of 13 targets for 68 yards, so he may simply be dealing with the same issue leading into Week 18. It's worth noting, though, that St. Brown was forced to walk off the field under this own power late in the fourth quarter versus Minnesota after taking an awkward hit. With Detroit having been eliminated from playoff contention due to the team's Week 17 loss, there won't be much incentive for St. Brown to push through the injury if there are any chances he could aggravate or compound his knee issue.

  • Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown: Active in Week 17

St. Brown (knee) is active for Thursday's game at Minnesota. Coach Dan Campbell told Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press on Tuesday that St. Brown was dealing with "a little irritation" in his knee that held him out of Monday's walkthrough before the wide receiver capped the week with back-to-back limited walkthroughs. The Lions then listed St. Brown as questionable for Week 17 action, but Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported Thursday morning that the wideout was expected to play, which now has been confirmed. Since he missed most of a Thanksgiving matchup with the Packers due to an ankle injury, St. Brown has suited up in each of the last three contests, accruing a 23-310-2 line on 36 targets during that span.

  • Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown: Limited for walkthrough session

The Lions listed St. Brown (knee) as a limited participant in Tuesday's walk-through practice. Earlier Tuesday, head coach Dan Campbell told Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press that St. Brown is still battling "a little irritation" in his knee, but the Lions remain optimistic that the star wideout will play in Thursday's game in Minnesota. St. Brown may need to upgrade to full participation in Wednesday's session in order to avoid taking a questionable tag into Thursday, however.

  • Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown: Posts 13-164-2 line Sunday

St. Brown finished with 13 receptions on 18 targets for 164 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 41-34 loss to the Rams. St. Brown's pair of scores in the first half helped give the Lions a couple of early leads in Sunday's shootout. While his team wasn't able to hang on to win the contest, the fantasy star did his part while recording season-high marks in receptions, targets and yardage. St. Brown has looked like his usual dominant self in the two games since giving his fantasy managers a scare with an early exit due to an ankle injury on Thanksgiving Day. The 25-year-old's standout performance against the Rams helped him reach 1,000 receiving yards for the fourth consecutive campaign. St. Brown boasts a healthy 94-1,140-11 receiving line heading into next Sunday's tilt against Pittsburgh.

  • Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown: Status in question for Week 14

St. Brown (ankle) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Cowboys. St. Brown departed in the first quarter of last Thursday's loss to the Packers and wasn't able to return due to an ankle injury. He was diagnosed with a low left-ankle sprain in the wake of the contest, and he proceeded to miss all three sessions of Week 14 prep. Despite the lack of activity this week, St. Brown still has a chance to play Thursday, with coach Dan Campbell telling Eric Woodyard of ESPN.com on Tuesday that "if he can play, he'll play." St. Brown added that his ankle "hurts, but it's getting better. So, that's the good news. Just day by day." If St. Brown isn't able to suit up, Jameson Williams will be the clear-cut top WR for the Lions, with Isaac TeSlaa, Tom Kennedy and Dominic Lovett also on hand for targets, as Kalif Raymond (ankle) has been ruled out.

  • Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown: Misses practice, iffy for Thursday

Lions head coach Dan Campbell said that St. Brown (ankle) won't practice Tuesday, but the wideout could still be available for Thursday's game against the Cowboys, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports. St. Brown has yet to practice in any fashion since exiting early in the Lions' Thanksgiving Day loss to the Packers due to a left low-ankle sprain. Campbell acknowledged that the receiver's condition has improved since then and the Lions are leaving the door open for St. Brown to play Thursday, even though he would likely be operating at less than 100 percent. For his part, St. Brown told Birkett that he wants to go through a pregame workout to see how the injury affects his ability to cut and change directions before making a decision on whether he can play. If St. Brown is forced to miss his first game of the season, Tom Kennedy would likely step in as the primary replacement at slot receiver after he recorded four catches for 36 yards on four targets following St. Brown's departure in the loss to Green Bay.

  • Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown: Low-ankle sprain confirmed

An MRI revealed that St. Brown suffered a low-ankle sprain during Thursday's loss to the Packers, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. After Thursday's game, coach Dan Campbell said St. Brown's absence likely will be contained to 1-to-2 games if he misses any time, per Colton Pouncy of The Athletic. Tom Pelissero of NFL Network then reported Friday morning that St. Brown was believed to have suffered a low-ankle sprain, which has been confirmed. With the Lions' next game Thursday, Dec. 4 against the Cowboys, they'll be required to post an injury report Monday, at which point St. Brown's initial listed activity level of Week 14 prep will become known.

  • Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown: May miss time due to ankle injury

Coach Dan Campbell said after Thursday's loss to the Packers that he doesn't believe St. Brown's ankle injury is a long-term concern, but he may miss only 1-to-2 games "if we're lucky," Colton Pouncy of The Athletic reports. St. Brown wasn't able to return after he had his legs rolled up on by two Lions offensive linemen in the first quarter. Considering Campbell's comments, St. Brown appears in danger of missing next Thursday's game against the Cowboys and potentially time beyond that. Jameson Williams stepped up in St. Brown's absence Week 13, hauling in seven of 10 targets for 144 yards and one touchdown.

  • Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown: Eighth TD of season

St. Brown recorded five receptions on eight targets for 58 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 44-22 win over the Commanders. St. Brown turned in his lowest reception total since Week 1 and his lowest target total since Week 4, but he still managed to turn in a serviceable performance. He was used primarily in the short areas of the field, logging long catches of 16 and 15 yards while also finding the end zone from nine yards away. St.Brown now has eight touchdowns on the campaign and has at least 70 receiving yards or a touchdown in seven of nine contests.

  • Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown: Top DFS Play

The Commanders have given up 134 PPR Fantasy points to wide receivers in their last three games. St. Brown is dominating targets in Detroit with a 32% target share that ranks third in the NFL. He may also be a little bit less popular because the Lions are outdoors, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba is only $200 more than him this week on FanDuel.

  • Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown: Busy but scoreless day in loss

St. Brown secured nine of 13 targets for 97 yards in the Lions' 27-24 loss to the Vikings on Sunday. St. Brown tied Sam LaPorta for the team lead in receiving yards while setting the pace in both receptions and targets on the afternoon. The star receiver's productive performance was essentially par for the course, as St. Brown has at least seven catches in six of eight contests this season. St. Brown will naturally remain a centerpiece of Detroit's air attack when the Lions attempt to bounce back from Sunday's loss in a Week 10 road matchup against the Commanders.

  • Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown: Back to scoring ways Monday

St. Brown finished with six receptions (on 10 targets) for 86 yards and a touchdown in Monday's 24-9 win over Tampa Bay. St. Brown found his way back into the end zone after being held scoreless in Detroit's last two contests. The superstar wideout continued dominating QB Jared Goff's target share, finishing the primetime win with seven more targets than any other Lions receiver. St. Brown's mini scoring slump hasn't stopped him from posting a WR1 numbers (50-538-7) heading into his team's bye week. Fantasy managers will have to fill the Sun God's roster spot Week 8 until Detroit returns to action against Minnesota on Sunday, Nov. 2.

  • Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown: Limited to short catches

St. Brown recorded nine receptions on 10 targets for 45 yards in Sunday's 30-17 loss to the Chiefs. St. Brown maintained his role as Jared Goff's favorite target, but it was otherwise a tough showing for him. His longest catch of the day went for only 12 yards, and he also uncharacteristically dropped a pass on a key fourth-down attempt midway through the second quarter, which shifted the momentum of the game. This marked the first time since Week 1 that St. Brown has failed to reach 70 receiving yards, and he should bounce back in Week 7 in a matchup of high-powered offenses against Tampa Bay.

  • Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown: DNP due to wrist injury Wednesday

St. Brown missed practice Wednesday due to a wrist injury. Per Nolan Bianchi of The Detroit News, St. Brown wasn't taking part during the media-access portion of Wednesday's session, and now the reason for his lack of work has become known. St. Brown will have two more chances to mix into drills this week ahead of Sunday's road showdown with the Chiefs. Through five games this season, he's reached 100 receiving yards two times while scoring six touchdowns.

  • Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown: Reaches 100 yards

St. Brown recorded eight receptions on nine targets for 100 yards in Sunday's 37-24 win over the Bengals. St. Brown continued his excellent start to the season, leading the Lions in all receiving stats. He saw the majority of his volume in the first half, but his longest catch of the day was a 26-yard grab early in the fourth quarter. The only shortcoming was that St. Brown failed to find the end zone for the first time since Week 1, but he balanced that out by recording his second 100-yard receiving game of the campaign.
