Chris Hughes has worked in sports journalism for over 20 years. Many of those years were spent as an executive producer for a regional sports channel covering the Tampa and Orlando, Florida, markets. In that time, he covered two Super Bowls, a World Series, NBA Finals, Stanley Cup Finals, college football national championships, Final Fours, and several Daytona 500s and golf tournaments. He has written in the sports betting space for the last five years. Even though he has lived in Florida for most of his adult life, he grew up in New York and attended Syracuse University.
