DENVER -- Paul Lo Duca wasn't about to change anything after his first hitless game of the season.

Lo Duca drove in three runs one day after his 11-game hitting streak was snapped, and Adrian Beltre homered and had two RBI to lead the Los Angeles Dodgers over the Colorado Rockies 9-4 Wednesday night.

"I swung the bat well last night, just nothing fell in," Lo Duca said. "I'm looking to continue to stay where I'm at, not try to do too much."

Lo Duca went 3-for-4. Beltre hit his second home run in two games and Dave Roberts went 3-for-3 with three stolen bases and three runs scored for the Dodgers, who had 13 hits.

"Lo Duca's at-bats he had in run-producing situations were terrific," Los Angeles manager Jim Tracy said. "Roberts creates things for us, and more times than not we come out of it with runs."

Hideo Nomo (3-1), who threw the only no-hitter in Coors Field history on Sept. 17, 1996, allowed four runs and nine hits in six innings. He improved to 10-2 against Colorado.

Darren Dreifort followed with two scoreless innings, and Tom Martin worked the ninth.

"Nomo has a great splitter," Colorado's Todd Helton said. "It makes his fastball look 100 (mph), even though he's only throwing 86."

Scott Elarton (0-3) was tagged for five runs and eight hits in 5 1/3 innings, losing his third straight start. Colorado had won two in a row.

"I think we saw some improvement, but I think we need more," manager Clint Hurdle. "Five runs in 5 1/3 innings is not going to calculate to where you want to be."

The Dodgers took a 1-0 lead on Lo Duca's broken-bat single to right after Elarton walked two in the first inning. Beltre homered to left leading off the second.

The Rockies cut it to 2-1 in the third when Aaron Miles singled to drive in Todd Greene, who doubled leading off the third inning.

Milton Bradley and Lo Duca had RBI doubles in the fifth to make it 4-1.

"When I think about getting into a rut and trying to hit home runs, that's when I don't take good swings," Lo Duca said. "I'm just trying to put the ball in play."

Vinny Castilla's two-out double in the fifth trimmed it to 4-2, but Los Angeles broke it open with five runs in the sixth. Lo Duca had a sacrifice fly, and the Dodgers got RBI singles from Beltre, Cesar Izturis, Bradley and Juan Encarnacion to take a 9-2 lead.

Pinch-hitter Luis Gonzalez hit a solo home run and the Rockies scored twice in the sixth.

"We did a good job coming out here on a night where there is tough conditions," Roberts said.

Notes

Gametime temperature was 39 degrees. ... Izturis has a 10-game hitting streak for the Dodgers. ... Roberts has reached base in 12 of 13 games. ... Rockies RHP Denny Stark cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Colorado Springs, where he will start Friday. ... Denny Hocking made his second start at shortstop for Colorado.
