Ajayi carried four times for 13 yards and caught both of his targets for another 23 yards in Sunday's game against the Cowboys.
The rookie couldn't muster much on the ground, but he managed to haul in the first two passes of his NFL career. Ajayi is unlikely to see many touches behind Lamar Miller, although both backs were limited by Miami's inferior time of possession on Sunday. Week 12 will present a road matchup with the tough Jets front, and Ajayi should remain in his supporting role.
After injuring his ankle during a Week 10 contest against the Eagles, Jenkins was forced to miss the following game against the Cowboys, in which Darren McFadden ran all over the depleted Miami defense. Jenkins will need to practice at least once in some capacity this week in order to have a shot at playing in Week 12.
Landry (knee) returned to a limited practice Thursday.
After sitting out Wednesday' session, Landry was back out there Thursday, albeit in a limited capacity. We'll revisit his status to see whether or not he progresses to the point that the Dolphins choose to list him as probable for Sunday's contest against the Jets.
Although Misi (abdomen) was active he didn't play a snap in the loss to Dallas on Sunday, reports the Dolphins web site.
Apparently Misi just didn't feel right in pregame warmups so the team decided to hold him out of the game. His loss was a big one for Miami as the running game of the Cowboys ended up being more than Miami could handle.
Donnell isn't expected to play Sunday at Washington, after the Giants found a "troubling result" on an MRI on his neck, Dan Graziano of ESPN New York reports. "It's not looking good," Donnell said.
On Monday, Donnell stated that he felt 100 percent after doctors cleared him, but Wednesday's development leaves the tight end without a return date. While he'll likely be ruled out in advance of Sunday's game, Jordan Raanan of NJ.com speculated that Donnell may be in danger of missing the rest of the season. In the meantime, Will Tye and Jerome Cunningham will handle TE reps for the Giants, but a free-agent addition to the corps isn't out of the question.
49ers cornerback Leon McFadden is questionable to return to Saturday's Week 16 game against the Chargers due to a head injury, the team announced. McFadden had yet to record a tackle in Saturday's game at the time of his injury.
Giants defensive end Damontre Moore had his right arm in a sling as he watched Texas A&M's Pro Day with other former Aggies, reports the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. More information on Moore's injury was not immediately available.
Unga (neck) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Patriots.
Jasper Brinkley will step in at middle linebacker, but he didn't get much playing time in nickel packages last week, so he isn't a recommended IDP option for Sunday's game against the Patriots. Unga won't necessarily have an every-down role once he's healthy.
