09/25/16CBJustin BethelFOOTQUESTIONABLEBethel (foot) practiced in full Wednesday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

Bethel has endured a slow recovery from offseason foot surgery, which is expected to impact him throughout the campaign. Active status in Week 1 equated to 22 snaps on special teams and none on defense, but perhaps Wednesday's full showing will open the door to work in the defensive backfield. After rookie corner Brandon Williams was torched by the Patriots on Sunday, Bethel is the prime candidate to make a run at the starting job opposite Patrick Peterson, pending his health, of course.

09/25/16LBKareem MartinKNEEDOUBTFULMartin (knee) is considered doubtful for Sunday's game against the Bills, Mike Jurecki of Fox Sports reports.

Martin's status for Week 3 doesn't look too promising as he continues to deal with the nagging knee issue. Alex Okafor figures to be the primary backup at outside linebacker if Martin remains out.

09/25/16GEvan MathisFOOT, TOEOUTThe Broncos signed two-time Pro Bowler Evan Mathis to a one-year deal on Tuesday, the team announced.
09/25/16DTRobert NkemdicheANKLEQUESTIONABLENkemdiche (ankle) is unlikely to play Sunday against the Bills, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Nkemdiche was unable to play last weekend due to the injury, and while there was a possibility he was going to give it a go Sunday, he has apparently not done enough in practice to warrant a game-day spot.

09/25/16DTFrostee RuckerKNEEDOUBTFULRucker (knee) is considered questionable for Sunday's game against the Bills, Mike Jurecki of Fox Sports reports.

Rucker wasn't able to practice throughout the week as his status for Sunday's matchup doesn't look good. In his potential absence, Rodney Gunter figures to get the start at defensive end.

09/09/16RBTyler GaffneyFootQUESTIONABLEGaffney (foot) reached an injury settlement with the Patriots on Friday, Mike Petraglia of WEEI.com reports.

The transaction removes Gaffney from the Patriots' injured reserve. If he can regain his health, it isn't out of the realm of possibility for the running back to resurface with another organization before season's end.

09/03/16DLRob NinkovichSuspensionSUSPENDThe Patriots have signed Ninkovich (suspension) to a one-year contract extension, NFL.com reports.

Though he's suspended for the first four weeks of the regular season and concurrently nursing a triceps injury, the Patriots' brass still clearly considers Ninkovich a key piece of their defense for the foreseeable future. Previously set to hit the free agent market after at season's end, Ninkovich is now set to remain in New England through 2017.

08/31/16TEBryce WilliamsUndisclosedQUESTIONABLEWilliams has missed several days of practice with an undisclosed injury.

Clearly behind Rob Gronkowski and Martellus Bennett on the Patriots' tight end depth chart, Williams is competing for depth slotting at the position along with Clay Harbor, A.J. Derby, Steven Scheu and Bear Pascoe.

07/29/16QBTom BradySuspensionSUSPENDWhile playing the entire first half of Thursday's preseason finale against the Giants, Brady (suspension) completed 16 of 26 passes for 166 yards, with a TD and a pick.

With Brady having seemingly finished up the game in good health, the veteran QB's first regular-season action is set for Week 5 against the Browns, after he serves his four-game suspension at the beginning of the upcoming campaign. In the meantime, Jimmy Garoppolo is slated to start the Patriots' first four games of the upcoming campaign.

06/09/16TEMichael WilliamsKneeOUTWilliams tore his left ACL during Wednesday's practice and he'll likely be placed on Injured Reserve, Jim McBride of the Boston Globe reports.

As expected, Williams' injury was a serious one as he was seen on crutches Thursday awaiting the unfortunate results. This ensures Clay Harbor's spot as the No. 3 option at tight end behind Rob Gronkowski and Martellus Bennett heading into the 2016 season, as Williams enters a long road to recovery.
