05/24/13TETony MoeakiKnee Chiefs coach Andy Reid said Thursday that tight end Tony Moeaki, who underwent an arthroscopic procedure on his knee this offseason, could be out until training camp. "Probably see him at training camp,” Reid said. He was asked if Moeaki would be ready when training camp starts. “We’ll see," Reid said. "But right now, I’m thinking he will be, but we’ll see how it goes. He’s working like crazy.”
05/15/13RBShaun DraughnHernia The Kansas City Star reports that Chiefs running back Shaun Draughn missed a full-squad workout Tuesday while recovering from a sports hernia.

06/12/13RBLatavius MurrayFoot The Contra Costa Times reports that Raiders rookie running back Latavius Murray remains sidelined during minicamp with a sore foot. Murray, a sixth-round pick from Central Florida, is competing with Rashad Jennings to be the No. 2 running back in Oakland behind Darren McFadden.
06/04/13WRJacoby FordHamstring Jacoby Ford was held out of Raiders OTA practice with a hamstring injury.
06/04/13TENick KasaHamstring The Contra Costa Times reports the departure of Brandon Myers to the Giants in free agency left a huge void for the Raiders to fill at tight end. Myers led the Raiders in receptions last season, and he played almost every down, while David Ausberry and Richard Gordon bided their time on the sideline. Ausberry and Gordon are back for another crack at earning more playing time. The Raiders drafted Nick Kasa and Mychal Rivera as a means of creating more competition. “It’s pretty wide open,” coach Dennis Allen said. “All those guys are doing a nice job. Obviously, it’s hurt not having Kasa (hamstring) out there because he’s a guy we really anticipated being able to step-in and potentially fill a role for us. So, hopefully, we’ll get him out there soon. The big thing, again, with those guys, just like it is with everyone else, it’s going to be the consistency issue because they are relatively young at the position.”
05/28/13DBD.J. HaydenAbdominal Raiders rookie cornerback D.J. Hayden is out of the hospital after having a procedure on his abdomen to remove scar tissue. He's not expected back on the field until training camp.
01/18/13QBCarson PalmerRibs New Cardinals coach Bruce Arians runs an offense that stresses throwing the ball down the field. He said Tuesday that quarterback Carson Palmer can still chuck it when needed.
