11/22/15LBAkeem DentHamstringOUTThe Texans will re-sign veteran linebacker Akeem Dent to a two-year contract, according to a report from ESPN's Josina Anderson
11/22/15QBBrian HoyerConcussionOUTPer coach Bill O'Brien, Hoyer passed his final concussion test and will be the Texans' starter at QB this coming Sunday against the Saints.

T.J. Yates drew the start at quarterback for the Texans in this past Sunday's 24-17 win over the Jets, but the team will return to Hoyer in Week 12 and he'll have a chance to take aim at a Saints' defense that has allowed a league-high 28 passing TDs to date, en route to giving up an average of 293.1 passing yards per game. Only the Giants have allowed more (309.9).

11/22/15DBKareem JacksonAnkleOUTJackson (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Jackson has now been ruled out of his fourth consecutive game after he was unable to practice at all Friday due to a sprained ankle. Kevin Johnson will likely get the start in place of the 27-year-old.

11/22/15DBJohnathan JosephKneeLEFTJoseph, who briefly left Sunday's win over the Jets to have his knee examined, downplayed the severity of the injury, calling it a bruise, the Houston Chronicle reports.

Joseph was able to finish off the game, making two tackles and recording two passes defensed in the win. We'll need to see if the knee flares up during the practice week as the Texans prep for a Week 12 game against New Orleans.

11/22/15RBChris PolkHamstringOUTPolk (hamstring) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Jets.

In any case, as the No. 3 option in the Texans' ground game, Polk's fantasy utility is limited to deeper formats as long as both Alfred Blue and Jonathan Grimes remain in the mix.

11/22/15DLAllen BaileyCalfOUTBailey (calf) has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Chargers.

Bailey will be sidelined once again due to his calf injury, leaving the Chiefs defense without a notable presence up front. However, given the Chargers' patchwork starting offense, Sunday's matchup still seems favorable for Kansas City's defense.

11/22/15WRDe'Anthony ThomasConcussionLEFTThomas did not return to Sunday's game after suffering a concussion, Adam Teicher of ESPN reports.

Thomas played just one snap Sunday before suffering a concussion, carrying the ball for seven yards on that play. The team hasn't released an update on the severity of the issue, but his progression through the concussion protocol this week should give a good indication of his availability for next Sunday's contest against the Bills.

11/22/15RBCharcandrick WestHamstringLEFTWest is day-to-day with a strained hamstring, Terez A. Paylor of the Kansas City Star

West left Sunday's game against the Chargers in the second quarter, finishing with 11 rushes for 16 yards and two receptions for 48 yards. He was replaced by Spencer Ware, who had 96 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries.

11/22/15LBRamik WilsonAnkleOUTChiefs rookie linebacker Ramik Wilson seemed to make an early impression during rookie minicamp, especially on pass defense. Wilson had an interception during a live session Sunday and came back with two more interceptions Monday, according to the team's official website.
11/16/15QBTyler BrayUndisclosedNFIThe Chiefs placed linebacker Justin March (knee) on injured reserve and quarterback Tyler Bray on the non-football injury list Tuesday.
