Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert will not suit up for Thursday's preseason finale against the Colts because of a minor back injury, the News-Sentinel reports. He has not played since the preseason opener against the Chiefs. He'll get 10 extra days of rest before Week 1 against the Ravens on Sept. 7.

The Ravens have signed suspended safety Will Hill to a one-year deal, according to the Baltimore Sun. Hill is suspended for six games for violating the league's substance abuse policy while with the Giants, his second suspension since entering the NFL.
The Ravens restructured the contract of starting cornerback Lardarius Webb, reducing his 2014 cap figure by $3 million, reports the National Football Post. Webb hasn't practiced since hurting his lower back July 25. Coach John Harbaugh said he's made significant progress and could return to practice late this week.
