Seven players dot the Steelers injury list released Friday, but only defensive end Brett Keisel (foot) and guard Kelvin Beachum (knee) are unlikely to play Sunday against the Dolphins. Keisel has been ruled out while Beachum is doubtful.
Broncos tight end Julius Thomas -- still feeling the after-effects of a knee injury -- played for the first time in three weeks against Tennessee Sunday, catching five passes for 35 yards and a touchdown. It was Thomas' 11th touchdown of the season.
Broncos wide receiver Wes Welker (concussion) did not return to practice Tuesday, decreasing the chances of him playing Thursday against the Chargers. Coach John Fox didn't rule out Welker for Week 15 on Monday, but he said, ""We'll think about his health first."
The Texans' injury report for Week 14 featured a lengthy list of injured defenders, but all but one player from that side of the ball was able to take the field Thursday against the Jaguars. While defensive back Jawanza Starling (foot) was inactive prior to kickoff, 11 other injured players were able to play through their issues.
