09/26/16DLEzekiel AnsahAnkleQUESTIONABLEAnsah (ankle) will not play Sunday against the Packers, and he could be held out in Week 4 against the Bears, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Ansah suffered a high-ankle sprain in Week 2, and while he is expected to get a second MRI on the ankle, it's also possible he misses more than the two games.

09/11/16LBJosh BynesKneeOUTBynes (knee) reached an injury settlement, and was cut by the Lions on Saturday, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Bynes had been placed on the injured-reserve with a knee injury. The severity of his knee injury is still unknown. He had originally projected to provide linebacker depth for the Lions this season.

09/26/16TEMyCole PruittKneeQUESTIONABLEPruitt (knee) is inactive for Sunday's Week 3 matchup with the Panthers, Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

Pruitt was limited during practice all week, and after evaluating him Sunday morning, team trainers evidently determined that the tight end wasn't ready to go. Since he's the No. 3 option on the depth chart behind Kyle Rudolph and Rhett Ellison, Pruitt won't see many snaps even once he returns to active status.

09/07/16DBMichael GriffinBackQUESTIONABLEGriffin (back) signed a one-year contract with the Panthers on Tuesday.

Griffin, a ten year veteran, signed with the Vikings this offseason but was cut by the team before the start of the season after being placed on injured reserve due to a back injury. The Panthers have not commented on the health status of Griffin but look for updates to come later in the week. Once healthy, Griffin could potentially compete with Kurt Coleman for the starting strong safety position.

09/02/16DLIsame FacianeKneeQUESTIONABLEThe Vikings signed nine players to their practice squad: running back Joe Banyard, wideouts Kain Colter and Donte Foster, defensive tackle Isame Faciane, tight end Chase Ford, cornerback Kendall James, center Zac Kerin, offensive tackle Mike Remmers and defensive end Justin Trattou.
08/24/16DBTre RobersonHandQUESTIONABLERoberson was released by the Vikings.

He suffered a broken bone in his right hand during training camp which hurt his chances to make the final roster.

07/29/16QBTaylor HeinickeAnkleOUTHenicke will start the regular season on the non-football injury list, Andrew Krammer of the Star Tribune reports.

Heinicke was originally given a timetable of three months for a return when he had surgery to repair a torn tendon in his ankle. Placement on the NFI list to start the season means that he'll miss at least the first six games, which he likely would've anyway.
