09/25/16DLRobert ThomasIllnessOUTThomas (illness) is ruled out for Sunday's tilt with Washington.

Thomas was a non-participant at practice throughout the week. Montori Hughes could fill his void as a backup if needed.

09/25/16SDarian ThompsonFOOTOUTThompson (foot) will not play in Week 3's matchup with Washington, Tom Rock of Newsday.com reports.

Thompson is considered week-to-week as he continues to nurse a sprained foot. The safety "rolled up" his foot during Sunday's win over the Saints and did not take the practice field on Thursday. The Giants will be extra thin at defensive back now with Nat Berhe and Landon Collins as the only active safeties on the roster.

09/19/16RBNikita WhitlockSuspensionSUSPENDWhitlock (foot) has been suspended 10 games for a violation of the NFL's policy on performance enhancing substances.

Currently on injured reserve due to a mid-foot sprain, the fullback will serve the suspension whenever he receives a clean bill of health.

09/25/16DEEzekiel AnsahANKLEOUTAnsah (ankle) will not play Sunday against the Packers, and he could be held out in Week 4 against the Bears, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Ansah suffered a high-ankle sprain in Week 2, and while he is expected to get a second MRI on the ankle, it's also possible he misses more than the two games.

09/25/16CBAdairius BarnesANKLEOUTBarnes (ankle) has been ruled out for the Lions' matchup against the Packers on Sunday, Tim Twentyman of the team's official site reports.
