Venable was outrighted to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Saturday, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.
Designated for assignment on Friday, Venable went unclaimed during his waiver period and will stay with the Dodgers' Triple-A affiliate. Prior to being signed by Los Angeles on June 14, the 33-year-old spent time with Philadelphia's minor league club, Triple-A Lehigh Valley, where he slashed .205/.304/.307 over 41 games.
