Rockies' Willie MacIver: Gets spot in roster pool

The Rockies added MacIver to their 60-man roster pool Monday.

Unless Colorado is missing multiple catchers at any point in 2020, MacIver is expected to remain at the Rockies' alternate training site or on the taxi squad throughout the abbreviated season. MacIver spent the bulk of the 2019 campaign at Low-A Asheville, slashing .252/.319/.421 with 13 home runs and 12 steals.
