Jackson was released from Triple-A Tacoma on Thursday, Rainiers broadcaster Mike Curto reports.

The 29-year-old second baseman had slashed a pedestrian .222/.300/.267 over 50 plate appearances in 14 games with the Rainiers. Jackson's extensive minor-league career dates back to 2010, with the extent of his major-league experience limited to 22 games across three combined stints with the Cardinals and Angels.
