Ober did not factor into the decision Sunday against Baltimore, allowing three runs on four hits and a walk across four innings. He struck out one.

Ober kept the Orioles off the board for three innings before Tyler O'Neill cut Minnesota's lead to 4-3 with a three-run homer in the fourth. The 30-year-old Ober's fastball velocity remains a concern - it averaged just 89.8 MPH Sunday after sitting at 90.3 last season. Ober struggled overall in 2025, posting a 5.10 ERA with a 1.30 WHIP and 120 strikeouts across 27 starts (146.1 innings).

Baz did not factor into the decision Sunday against the Twins, allowing four runs on seven hits across 5.1 innings. He struck out four.

All of the damage against Baz came in the second inning. The first four batters in the frame reached safely against the right-hander before Tristan Gray cleared the bases with a double. However, the Orioles rallied en route to an eventual 8-6 victory, sparing Baz the loss in his team debut. Baz was traded to Baltimore after posting a 4.87 ERA with a 1.33 WHIP and 176:64 K:BB across 31 starts (166.1 innings) with Tampa Bay last season. He's currently lined up to face the Pirates on the road in his next outing.

Quintana came away with the no-decision in the Rockies' 4-3 loss to the Marlins on Sunday. He allowed two runs on four hits and four walks while striking out two across 4.1 innings.

Quintana gave up a run in each of the first two innings of Sunday's start. He managed to keep the Marlins off the board the rest of the way but was not in line for the win after being lifted with one out in the fifth, finishing his day with nine whiffs on 78 pitches (42 strikes). Quintana inked a one-year deal with the Rockies in February after pitching for the Brewers in 2025, when he posted an 11-7 record across 24 regular-season starts with a 3.96 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 89:50 K:BB over 131.2 innings. His next start is tentatively slated for next weekend at home against the Phillies.

Meyer did not factor into the decision in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Rockies. He allowed three runs on five hits and two walks while striking out five across five frames.

Meyer found himself on the back foot right out of the gate after yielding a bases-clearing, three-run double to Jordan Beck in the first inning. Meyer was able to settle in after that and kept the Rockies off the board over the next four frames, and he escaped with the no-decision after Owen Caissie smacked a walk-off, two-run homer in the ninth. Meyer delivered strong performances during spring training, and it was encouraging to see him bounce back after a rough start to Sunday's game. His next turn in the rotation is slated for next weekend on the road against the Yankees.

Luzardo (0-1) took the loss Sunday against the Rangers, allowing six runs on six hits and a walk over six innings. He struck out seven.

Luzardo was hurt by the home run ball Sunday. The left-hander gave up a two-run shot to Brandon Nimmo in the third inning before Andrew McCutchen extended Texas' lead to 5-0 with a three-run blast in the fourth. Luzardo signed a five-year extension with the Phillies in the offseason after going 15-7 with a 3.92 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and a career-high 216 strikeouts over 32 regular-season starts in 2025. He'll look to bounce back in his next outing, tentatively scheduled for next weekend in Colorado.

Gore (1-0) earned the win Sunday over the Phillies, allowing two runs on two hits and three walks across 5.1 innings. He struck out seven.

It was an impressive debut for Gore, who held the Phillies hitless through his first five innings before he was charged with a pair of runs in the sixth after allowing two singles and a walk. Despite the rocky finish, it was an encouraging showing from the left-hander, who posted a 4.17 ERA with a 1.35 WHIP and 185:64 K:BB across 30 starts (159.2 innings) in an up-and-down 2025 campaign with the Nationals. Gore is tentatively lined up to face the Reds at home in his next outing.

Morales (0-1) took the loss against the Blue Jays on Sunday, allowing five runs on five hits and two walks with five strikeouts over 4.1 innings.

Morales threw just 41 of 71 pitches for strikes and was undone by homers in the first, third and fourth innings. The 23-year-old posted an impressive 3.14 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 43:18 K:BB across 48.2 innings down the stretch in 2025, but he carried a rough spring into his season debut. He'll look to rebound in a home matchup against the Giants next weekend.

Lauer (1-0) earned the win against the Athletics on Sunday, allowing two runs on three hits and one walk with nine strikeouts over 5.1 innings.

Lauer allowed a two-run homer in the fifth inning but was otherwise fantastic, generating a whopping 17 whiffs on 87 pitches. The 30-year-old got the nod with Trey Yesavage (shoulder) opening the year on the injured list and certainly made a strong case to stick in the rotation for now. He posted a 3.18 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 102:26 K:BB across 104.2 regular-season innings in 2025 and tentatively lines up for a road matchup against the White Sox next weekend.

Lugo (1-0) earned the win Sunday over Atlanta, allowing five hits over 6.1 scoreless innings. He struck out three.

It was a strong start to the year for Lugo, who held Atlanta to a lone extra-base hit en route to the Royals' first win this season. Lugo is looking to turn things around after an up-and-down 2025 campaign where he finished 8-7 with 125 strikeouts and a 4.15 ERA, his highest in five seasons. Lugo is tentatively scheduled to face the Brewers at home in his next outing.

Waldron (lower body) tossed three scoreless innings in a rehab start with Triple-A El Paso on Friday, allowing two hits and striking out three batters.

Waldron is currently on the major-league 15-day IL while he recovers from hemorrhoid surgery. The knuckleballer threw 37 pitches (25 strikes) in Friday's rehab appearance, so he seems to be progressing well. Waldron will likely serve as a long reliever out of the Padres' bullpen once he's activated.
