Head coach Nick Nurse said Friday that Lowry has not yet reached the day-to-day phase in his recovery from a right hip sprain and is out indefinitely, Austin Krell of OnPattison.com reports.
Lowry will miss his third straight game Friday against the Pelicans, and though Nurse said the veteran guard is starting a more aggressive treatment plan for his injury, he'll likely be sidelined for at least a few more games. The 38-year-old has held a minor role in the Philadelphia rotation this season, averaging 4.2 points, 2.7 assists and 1.8 rebounds in 19.9 minutes while shooting 35.6 percent from the field over 25 appearances.
