Dan Straily pitches four one-run innings vs. Royals

Athletics pitcher Dan Straily allowed just one earned run on three hits and two walks in four innings while striking out two in his team's 9-9 tie with the Royals Friday.

Straily limited the damage to a second-inning homer by Alex Gordon, helping lower his spring ERA to 3.86 through 9 1/3 innings. However, the solid ERA also comes with a 5:7 K:BB ratio.
