Joe Mahoney sent to Triple-A

Marlins first baseman Joe Mahoney has been activated from the disabled list, and will be sent to Triple-A New Orleans.

Mahoney has been out with hamstring soreness, and was set to return Monday. With the team getting Logan Morrison back Sunday, there was no spot for Mahoney on the roster. He was hitting .276/.276/.414 in 29 at-bats this year.
