The Diamondbacks have avoided arbitration with pitcher Josh Collmenter by signing him to a two-year, $2.425-million deal that includes one club option and one mutual option, FOXSports.com reports.

The deal can be worth as much as $6.5 million if both options are exercised. Collmenter was eligible for arbitration for the first time this offseason after going 5-5 with a 3.13 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 85:33 K:BB ratio in 92 innings over 49 relief appearances last season.
