The Phillies purchased the contract of pitcher Seth Rosin , the team announced on Saturday.

Rosin appeared in three games with Texas last season in his only other MLB experience. He was 2-1 with three saves and a 2.65 ERA at Triple-A Lehigh Valley this season.

To make room, the Phillies designated pitcher Phillippe Aumont for assignment. Aumont suffered a loss in his only appearance with the Phillies.
