John Shea@JohnSheaHey17H agoGM Zack Minasian said Bruce Bochy highly recommended Tyler Mahle, who'll join the Giants' rotation next season. Mahle had a nice 2025 season in Texas: 2.18 ERA in 16 starts.

Susan Slusser@susanslusser17H agoZack Minasian says on a call with reporters that the Giants are very comfortable with the five starters they have - Webb, Ray, Mahle, Houser, Roupp - and feel their depth is better than it was going into the offseason. “We’re happy with where we’re at. We’ll keep working on it.”

Alex Pavlovic@PavlovicNBCS17H agoOn a call with beat writers, new Giants starter Tyler Mahle said this is the best he has felt physically since 2021, when he made 33 starts. He was limited to 16 last season because of shoulder issues but he was able to return for two appearances in September.
