Athletics' Euribiel Angeles: Returns from IL
Angeles (undisclosed) was reinstated from the 7-day injured list Sunday and went 0-for-2 with a strikeout in High-A Lansing's 2-1 win over South Bend.
Angeles was back in action for Lansing after he was sidelined for two and a half weeks due to the unspecified injury. The 20-year-old infielder owns a .656 OPS for the season and has gone 8-for-14 on stolen-base attempts across 94 games in the Midwest League.

Athletics' Euribiel Angeles: Sidelined at High-A
High-A Lansing placed Angeles on its 7-day injured list Aug. 18 with an undisclosed injury.
Angeles, 20, was slashing .270/.307/.344 with two home runs and eight stolen bases over 375 plate appearances for Lansing this season prior to landing on the IL.

Athletics' Euribiel Angeles: Shipped to Athletics
Angeles and pitcher Adrian Martinez were traded from the Padres to the Athletics on Sunday in exchange for pitchers Sean Manaea and Aaron Holiday, Mark Feinsand of MLB.com reports.
Angeles made his professional debut in 2021 and spent most of the campaign at the Low-A level, where he hit .337/.392/.453 with three homers, 65 runs, 56 RBI and 18 stolen bases in 87 games. The 19-year-old finished the campaign at the High-A level and had a .730 OPS in 18 contests, and he could move to the upper minors early in 2022 if he continues to have success.
