Letson (shoulder) was reinstated from High-A Wisconsin's 60-day injured list Sunday and tossed 1.1 scoreless innings in his start against Great Lakes. He struck out two batters and allowed two hits and no walks in his 32-pitch appearance.
Pitching for the first time since May 8 after missing extended time with a right shoulder injury, Letson handled a light workload in his return to action for Wisconsin. Through seven outings with the High-A club this season, Letson has logged a 1.27 ERA, 0.89 WHIP and 32:7 K:BB in 28.1 innings.

Brewers' Bishop Letson: Sidelined at High-A
Rotowire
High-A Wisconsin placed Letson on its 7-day injured list June 3 due to a right shoulder injury, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
According to Rosiak, Letson's shoulder injury isn't viewed as a major concern, and the 20-year-old is expected to return from the IL at some point in July. Through his six starts (five appearances) for Wisconsin prior to landing on the shelf, Letson produced a 1.33 ERA, 0.85 WHIP and 30:7 K:BB in 27 innings.

Brewers' Bishop Letson: Fans eight in latest start
Rotowire
Letson has a 2.16 ERA, 0.72 WHIP and 12:2 K:BB in 8.1 innings through two starts for High-A Wisconsin.
Letson was particularly dominant in his most recent start, striking out eight batters without allowing a run or a walk in five frames. Four of those eight Ks came on his low-90s fastball (up to 94.4 mph in that start) which has good movement. Letson has elite extension, a plus sweeper and an improving changeup. The 20-year-old righty probably won't rocket through the minors, but he has a very high ceiling if he can stay healthy.
