Rucker (shoulder) has appeared in two of Single-A Lakeland's first three games of the season, going 4-for-9 with an RBI and a run scored.
Rucker missed most of the 2024 season after undergoing surgery in May to address a torn labrum in his right shoulder, but he's made a full recovery from the injury in advance of the 2025 campaign. The 20-year-old is expected to handle an everyday role at third base for Lakeland this season.

Tigers' Carson Rucker: Out for season after labrum surgery
Rotowire
Rucker underwent surgery earlier this week to address a torn labrum in his left shoulder, Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports. He was placed on the rookie-level Florida Complex League Tigers' full-season injured list May 21.
Rucker, a fourth-round pick in the 2023 First-Year Player Draft, had his second professional season come to an end after he torn his labrum while sliding into a base in a May 9 game in the FCL. He appeared in just four games, batting .385 with four doubles and one stolen base.
