Phillies' Andrick Nava: Makes 2022 debut
Rotowire
Nava (shoulder) made his 2022 debut Sunday for High-A Jersey Shore and went 2-for-3 with a walk and a run in the affiliate's 8-4 loss to Aberdeen.
Nava, who spent the 2021 campaign at the rookie-ball level, appeared in only three games before suffering a season-ending shoulder injury. Phillies' Andrick Nava: Recovering from shoulder injury
Rotowire
Nava has missed the first few months of the season with a shoulder injury, but he could return to game action for Low-A Clearwater prior to the end of the season, Chris Hilburn-Trenkle of Baseball America reports.
He was sent on a rehab assignment to the Florida Complex League in July, but hasn't appeared in a game since July 13, so it's unclear if he suffered a setback.
