Mariners' Ryan Court: Outrighted to Triple-A
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Court was outrighted to Triple-A Tacoma on Wednesday, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.

Court was designated for assignment Tuesday and cleared waivers quickly, hardly a surprise for a 31-year-old with just 12 big-league games under his belt. He'll remain as organizational depth for the Mariners.

Court was designated for assignment by the Mariners on Tuesday, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

Mariners' Ryan Court: Joins Seattle as roster expands
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

The Mariners recalled Court from Triple-A Tacoma on Sunday.

Court was one of five players added to the Mariners' roster in the first wave of September callups. The 31-year-old rookie previously appeared in eight games for the Mariners, going 4-for-17 with a home run. He'll offer depth at the corner-infield and corner-outfield spots but likely won't be in line to make more than a handful of starts per week in the final month of the season.

by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Court was optioned to Triple-A Tacoma on Saturday, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

Court got called up to the Mariners on July 26 and earned 18 plate appearances during his time with the team. The highlight of his stint came Friday, when he recorded his first major-league home run. The 31-year-old was optioned to clear room on the 25-man roster for Dee Gordon, who is returning from a stay on the injured list.

Mariners' Ryan Court: Hits first major-league homer
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Court went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an RBI single in Friday's 5-3 loss to the Rays.

He made an impact from the bottom of the batting order, lacing a game-tying single off Rays starter Jalen Beeks in the fourth inning. Court then tried to spark a rally with a solo shot off Rays closer Emilio Pagan in the ninth inning, but the Mariners were unable to build upon his effort. The utility man has recorded five RBI in eight games since being called up from Triple-A Tacoma on July 26, but the 31-year-old only has a .235/.278/.471 batting line across 17 at-bats.

by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Court had his contract selected from Triple-A Tacoma on Friday.

Court, who started the season in independent ball, will get his first taste of the majors after spending the past eight seasons as a journeyman. Prior to earning his first big-league promotion, the 31-year-old compiled a .279/.377/.581 triple-slash with nine home runs and two stolen bases in 37 games with Tacoma. Court figures to fill a utility role during his time with the big club. Tim Lopes (concussion) was placed on the 7-day IL while Ryon Healy (back/hip) was shifted to the 60-day IL in a pair of corresponding moves.
