Spurs center Tiago Splitter was able to play 26 minutes Wednesday against the Trail Blazers, in his return from a four-game absence due to a calf injury.

Splitter put up a solid line in his return, finishing with 15 points on 5 of 9 shooting from the field. He also went 5 of 9 from the free-throw line, and added six rebounds and two assists in the 111-109 win.

Splitter has taken a step back in his first year playing with a big contract, though injuries are a big reason why. He has appeared in just 35 of 55 games, averaging 8.1 points and 6.3 rebounds per game.
