Martin (undisclosed) isn't listed on the Rockets' injury report for Friday's game against the Hornets. Martin left Tuesday's win over Denver early with an undisclosed injury, but it appears the issue was minor and won't impact the third-year forward's availability. Martin has scored in double figures in nine straight games, averaging 15.3 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 32.2 minutes during that stretch.... See More ... See Less

Rockets' Kenyon Martin: Exits game with injury
Coach Stephen Silas said he has no update on Martin after he exited Tuesday's game versus the Nuggets early with an undisclosed injury but hopes he's okay, Mark Berman of Fox 26 Houston reports. Martin tallied 12 points, five rebounds and one assist in 27 minutes before exiting early. His status for Friday's game versus the Hornets is uncertain.... See More ... See Less -
Rockets' Kenyon Martin: Will warm up, intends to play
Martin (hip) will warm up with the intention of playing in Friday's game versus the Pistons, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports. Martin has yet to miss a game in the 2022-23 campaign and looks set on keeping that streak alive Friday, though official confirmation may not surface until closer to the 8 p.m. ET opening tipoff. Martin has started every game since Jan. 13 as well, averaging 14.9 points, 6.4 boards, 1.6 assists and 1.0 steals-plus-blocks over 32.2 minutes per game in that span.... See More ... See Less -
Rockets' Kenyon Martin: Status up in air for Friday
Martin is listed as questionable for Friday's game versus the Pistons due to a left hip flexor strain. Martin has been a solid piece for the Rockets this season, averaging a career-high 12.7 points per game on a career-best 57.0 percent from the field, albeit with a career-low 31.9 percent mark from deep. He has yet to miss a game this season, but that string of showings could end Friday. The team should release an official word on his status ahead of the 8 p.m. ET opening tipoff.... See More ... Rockets' Kenyon Martin: Stays hot in loss
Martin produced 15 points (6-13 FG, 3-5 3Pt), seven rebounds and one assist in 34 minutes during Wednesday's 123-114 loss to the Nets. Martin continues to be a relevant name down the stretch of the 2022-23 campaign, as he's now scored in double figures in each of his last six appearances. He's also helped out on the boards over this stretch, averaging 4.8 rebounds in 33.3 minutes per contest. Martin should continue to see a similar workload as the season winds down, barring any big rotation changes by Houston's coaching staff.... See More ... See Less -
Rockets' Kenyon Martin: Pours in career-high 31 points
Martin ended with a career-high 31 points (12-18 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 5-8 FT), six rebounds and two blocks in 39 minutes during Wednesday's 130-125 loss to the Grizzlies. Since moving into the starting five in mid-January, Martin has ascended to fantasy relevance while typically playing big minutes and offering useful points and rebounds contributions on efficient shooting from the field. He rarely helps out in other categories, but he complemented the new personal-best scoring total with a pair of rejections Wednesday ending a 13-game drought without a blocked shot.... See More ... Rockets' Kenyon Martin: Empty production Friday
Martin produced 14 points (4-7 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 5-6 FT) and six rebounds in 30 minutes during Friday's 114-112 victory over New Orleans. Martin continues to log heavy minutes for the Rockets, scoring in double digits for the fifth straight game. However, he failed to record a defensive stat, souring what was otherwise another decent performance. Martin has been somewhat of a surprise this season, putting himself on the radar thanks to consistent playing time and serviceable production. He is by no means a must-roster player but typically does just enough to maintain value no matter the format.... See More ... See Less -
Rockets' Kenyon Martin: Plays season-high 40 minutes
Martin supplied 20 points (8-13 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 3-5 FT), eight rebounds, one assist and one steal across 40 minutes in Monday's 111-109 win over Boston. The 40 minutes were a new season high for Martin, who may have benefited to some degree from Jabari Smith playing exclusively at center while Alperen Sengun (groin) was sidelined. Given that Sengun was initially listed as probable before being ruled out shortly before the opening tip, he has a good chance at returning to action Wednesday versus the Lakers, but Martin shouldn't be headed for too dramatic of a downturn in playing time. Prior to Monday, Martin had played no fewer than 27 minutes in any of his 26 appearances since entering the starting five, and he averaged 14.5 points and 6.7 rebounds and shot 57.3 percent from the field over that stretch.... Rockets' Kenyon Martin: Lands 23 points in loss
Martin finished with 23 points (9-13 FG, 5-8 FT), three rebounds, one assist and two steals across 32 minutes during Thursday's 134-125 overtime loss to Indiana. Martin continues to put together the best season of his career, having now scored in double digits in seven of his past eight games. While he is outside the top 150 for the season, over the past month he has yielded top-100 value. He is locked in as a starter, and although there are a couple of glaring flaws in his overall game, he remains a must-roster player in just about every format.... See More ... See Less -
Rockets' Kenyon Martin: Another solid outing
Martin amassed 14 points (5-10 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-5 FT), eight rebounds, four assists and one steal in 33 minutes during Sunday's 131-114 loss to the Trail Blazers. Martin has drawn 19 straight starts with Kevin Porter (foot) sidelined and is averaging 14.2 points, 7.4 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.2 steals-plus-blocks in 32.2 minutes during that stretch. The third-year wing is in the middle of a career season and should continue to get plenty of opportunities to build off his success while Porter and Jalen Green (groin) remain out.... See More ... Rockets' Kenyon Martin: Paces team with 22 points
Martin finished Friday's 116-101 loss to the Warriors with a team-high 22 points (7-12 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 8-9 FT) to go with eight rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal over 36 minutes. The Rockets opened their second-half schedule without two of their primary scorers in Jalen Green (groin) and Kevin Porter (foot), so Martin stepped up to fill some of the void. Even before the All-Star break, Martin's production had been on the rise upon him moving into the starting five in mid-January. While starting each of the past 18 games, Martin has averaged 14.2 points and 7.4 boards while shooting 56.6 percent from the field, but his numbers in just about every other category have been limited (1.8 assists, 0.8 three-pointers, 0.7 blocks and 0.5 steals per game, 68.3 percent shooting from the free-throw line).... Rockets' Kenyon Martin: Surpasses 15-point mark once again
Martin logged 17 points (6-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-5 FT), six rebounds, three assists, two blocks and two steals in 38 minutes during Friday's 97-95 loss to the Heat. Martin had another efficient performance and found a way to contribute on both ends of the court despite the Rockets losing again. Martin has been a regular starter since Jan. 13 and is not expected to move back to the bench until Kevin Porter (foot) returns. He's reached the 15-point mark in six of his last seven appearances and is averaging 15.3 points with 6.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game across six February outings.... See More ... See Less -
Rockets' Kenyon Martin: Submits another efficient scoring game
Martin finished Monday's 140-120 loss to the Kings with 18 points (8-10 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 0-1 FT), eight rebounds and one assist in 32 minutes. Martin continues to deliver scarce production in most of the peripheral categories, but he's been an excellent source of efficient scoring and solid rebounding numbers since entering the starting five in place of Kevin Porter (foot). During his ongoing 13-game run with the top unit, Martin has averaged 14.0 points and 7.8 rebounds while shooting 58.3 percent from the field.... See More ... See Less -
Rockets' Kenyon Martin: Continues hot streak
Martin logged 20 points (8-9 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 3-3 FT), six rebounds, three assists and one block across 35 minutes during Friday's 117-111 loss to the Raptors. Martin has been on a tear over his last 10 games, averaging 15.4 points and 8.4 rebounds on 59.8 percent shooting. Although his expanded workload will end upon the return of Jalen Green (calf) and Kevin Porter (foot/toe), fantasy managers should be able to enjoy Martin's increased output for a few more games.... Rockets' Kenyon Martin: Scores 18 in win
Martin had 18 points (7-13 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-5 FT), seven rebounds and four assists in 32 minutes during Wednesday's 112-106 win over the Thunder. Martin has started 10 consecutive games, and he's been a well-rounded contributor during that time. He posted double-doubles in two of his three appearances prior to Wednesday's victory, and he matched his second-highest assist total of the season against Oklahoma City. Across his last 10 outings, he's averaged 14.0 points and 8.2 rebounds in 31.2 minutes per game.... See More ... See Less -
Rockets' Kenyon Martin: Secures another double-double
Martin had 15 points (7-11 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 13 rebounds, one assist and one block over 27 minutes during Saturday's 117-114 win over Detroit. Martin shot efficiently from the field and notched his second double-double in three games. He's managed to score in double figures in seven of his team's last eight contests, averaging 14.5 points, 8.9 rebounds and 1.6 assists over this stretch.... See More ... See Less -
Rockets' Kenyon Martin: Records strong double-double
Martin closed Wednesday's 108-103 loss to Washington with 16 points (8-13 FG, 0-2 FT), 13 rebounds, one assist and one block over 34 minutes. Martin posted his first double-double since November and was excellent on both ends of the court, but his efforts weren't enough to lift the Rockets in a tight matchup. Martin has started in each of Houston's last seven games and is averaging 13.3 points with 8.0 rebounds in that span.... See More ... See Less -
Rockets' Kenyon Martin: Keeps producing as starter
Martin produced 11 points (4-8 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 0-1 FT), seven rebounds and three assists across 32 minutes during Wednesday's 122-117 loss to the Hornets. Martin sniffed a double-double in Wednesday's loss, and he continues to produce as a starter. He's averaging 14.0 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game since jumping into a starting role, and he should remain in that status as long as Kevin Porter (foot) remains sidelined.... See More ... See Less -
Rockets' Kenyon Martin: Swats two shots in loss
Martin amassed 17 points (7-15 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds and two blocks in 30 minutes during Monday's 140-132 loss to the Lakers. All five of Houston's starters scored in double figures Monday, and Martin finished fourth on the team with 17 points. The third-year forward also tied for second on the Rockets in both rebounds (seven) and blocks (two), with the latter tying his season-high mark. Martin has started each of Houston's past three contests, averaging 15.0 points, 6.7 boards and 1.3 triples over that span.... See More ... See Less -
Rockets' Kenyon Martin: Near double-double in start
Martin contributed 22 points (9-14 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), nine rebounds and two assists over 33 minutes during Sunday's 121-100 loss to the Clippers. Martin got the start due to Kevin Porter (foot) and Jalen Green (suspension) being out Sunday, finishing one rebound shy of a double-double performance. Martin has tallied at least 20 points and five rebounds in four games this season.... See More ... See Less
