Ratledge (knee) is listed as questionable ahead of Thursday's game against the Packers. Ratledge appeared on the injury report ahead of Detroit's Week 12 matchup against the Giants, but he was able to suit up. He was a limited participant in each of Detroit's three walkthroughs during the week, which suggests he has a decent chance of playing.

  • Lions' Tate Ratledge: Questionable for Week 12

Ratledge (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Giants, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports. The rookie second-rounder has been limited in practice all week due to a knee injury. Kayode Awosika and Michael Niese would be the top candidates to start at right guard if Ratledge is not cleared to play Sunday.

  • Lions' Tate Ratledge: Limited practice Thursday

Ratledge (knee) was a limited participant at practice Thursday. • Lions' Tate Ratledge: Lions add Round 2 OL help

The Lions selected Ratledge in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft, 57th overall. Ratledge (6-foot-7, 308 pounds) has a frame better suited to tackle but lacks the arms (32 and 1/4 inches) to play the position. The Lions were evidently not concerned about Ratledge maintaining leverage against shorter defensive linemen, and if they're correct in their assessment, there aren't many other weaknesses in his game. Ratledge was a productive starter at Georgia and his athleticism is of blue-chip quality (4.97-second 40-yard dash, 32-inch vertical jump, 113-inch broad jump, 7.38-second three-cone drill), so he will presumably compete for the starting right guard role in Detroit.
