Green (personal) was placed on the exempt list with the designation that he left the team Monday, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.
Green no longer occupies a spot on Seattle's 53-man roster due to his designation on the exempt list, and has been replaced by linebacker Emmanuel Ellerbee. It appears that Green left the Seahawks of his own volition, and his future in the NFL remains unclear.
Green was waived by the Colts with an injury settlement in early September, but he's healthy now and will provide depth now that Earl Thomas is out for the year with a fractured leg. The Colts' 2016 second-round pick suited up for 31 games in the last two years and made 88 tackles (63 solo) and three pass breakups. He likely won't be a part of the defense in Week 5 against the Rams, and it's unclear how much the Seahawks are planning on using him in future contests.
Green (hamstring) was waived with an injury settlement by the Colts on Thursday, Andrew Walker of the Colts' official site reports.
Green sustained the hamstring injury in late August and was waived/injured at roster cutdowns. The 23-year-old cleared waivers and reverted to injured reserve, but can sign elsewhere after reaching the injury settlement.
Green (hamstring) was waived-injured by Indianapolis, Mike Chappell of Fox 59 News Indianapolis reports.
He'll likely be placed on IR if he clears waivers. The Colts selected Green in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft, 57th overall, but he never stuck at corner and was moved to safety where he struggled to find a sizeable role.
Green (hamstring) is listed as week-to-week after suffering a hamstring injury in Saturday's preseason game, ESPN 1070 am Indianapolis reports.
His status for the start of the regular season is in question as a result. Malik Hooker and Clayton Geathers have returned from injuries and look set to start at safety, but the Colts could have depth issues with Green and Ronald Martin (shoulder) hurt.
