  • Rams' Kyren Williams: Questionable, should play

Williams (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Cardinals, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports. Rams coach Sean McVay said Friday that he expects Williams to play, whereas fellow running back Blake Corum (ankle) appears truly questionable. McVay also said he'll use starters even if Sunday's game doesn't matter for playoff seeding, but that doesn't necessarily mean Williams would handle a full workload.

  • Rams' Kyren Williams: Expected to play

Rams coach Sean McVay said Friday that Williams (ankle) likely will play Sunday against the Cardinals, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports. McVay also said he'll play his starters even if the 49ers beat the Seahawks on Saturday, in which case the Rams would be locked in as the No. 6 seed. That doesn't necessarily mean starters will play the full game, but it does at least seem Williams is healthy enough to start. It's less clear if Blake Corum (ankle) will play, as he made an early exit from Monday's loss to Atlanta and didn't resume practicing until Friday.

  • Rams' Kyren Williams: Limited again Thursday

Williams (ankle) practiced in a limited fashion Thursday, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports. Both of the Rams' top two running backs are dealing with health concerns at the moment, but Williams at least has been able to log some on-field work, as opposed to Blake Corum (ankle), who was a non-participant Wednesday and Thursday. Ultimately, Friday's injury report will reveal if Williams and/or Corum carry designations ahead of Sunday's contest against the Cardinals.

  • Rams' Kyren Williams: Limited with ankle injury

Williams (ankle) is listed as limited on Wednesday's practice estimate, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports. The Rams held a walk-through just two days after losing to Atlanta on Monday Night Football. RB Blake Corum left the game early with an ankle injury and never returned, though he did hang around on the sideline with a helmet, perhaps still available in an emergency capacity. Williams also looked to get banged up at one point, but only briefly, re-entering the game and handling a vast majority of snaps after halftime. The Rams seemingly are expected to use starters Week 18 against Arizona, but there'd still be some risk of Ronnie Rivers taking over the backfield as the game progresses.

  • Rams' Kyren Williams: Gains 130 yards on 16 touches

Williams took 13 carries for 92 yards while corralling all three of his targets for 38 yards in Monday's 27-24 loss to Atlanta. RB Blake Corum (6-18-0) exited Monday Night Football in the second quarter with an ankle injury and did not return. Williams took full advantage of the extra work in the second half and finished the narrow loss just a yard shy of his single-game high in yards from scrimmage this season (131). The extent of Corum's injury isn't clear at the moment, but the team may opt to play it safe with the talented backup Week 18. Rams' beat writer Stu Jackson reported that coach Sean McVay will deploy his healthy starters against the Cardinals on Sunday, though it's unclear whether Williams will have the backfield all to himself for the regular-season finale, given he was examined for a high-ankle sprain in the fourth quarter before being cleared to return to Monday's game, per Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register.

  • Rams' Kyren Williams: Hits 70-yard threshold in OT loss

Williams rushed 23 times for 70 yards and brought in three of six targets for 15 yards in the Rams' 38-37 overtime loss to the Seahawks on Thursday night. Williams put in a workmanlike performance that saw him hit the 70-yard threshold on the ground for the fourth straight game and seventh in the last eight contests overall. However, Williams also saw backfield mate Blake Corum draw a red-zone rushing opportunity at the one-yard line in the third quarter that he converted into a touchdown. Williams saw a three-game scoring streak snapped Thursday, but he remains the clear lead back going into a Week 17 road matchup against the Falcons on Monday night, Dec. 29.

  • Rams' Kyren Williams: Hits pay dirt twice in Week 15

Williams rushed 15 times for 78 yards and two touchdowns while catching his only target for 10 yards in Sunday's 41-34 win over the Lions. Williams got the Rams' offense cooking with a couple of trips to the end zone in the first half of Sunday's victory. The 24-year-old is now up to 10 rushing touchdowns on the season, giving him double-digits in the category for three consecutive years. Williams also hit the 1,000-yard mark as a rusher Sunday, a feat he has also accomplished in each of his last three campaigns. Blake Corum (11-71-1) remained a factor in his backup role, but Williams is the Rams' clear RB1 for Thursday's pivotal NFC West matchup against the Seahawks.

  • Rams' Kyren Williams: Avoids injury designation

Williams (ankle) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game at Arizona, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports. Williams upgraded to full participation Friday after logging limited practices the previous two days. He suffered the ankle injury during last week's loss to the Panthers, which led to Blake Corum scoring a TD late in the second quarter. Williams returned after halftime and got most of the snaps/touches down the stretch, appearing no worse for the wear.

  • Rams' Kyren Williams: Another limited session

Williams (ankle) was a limited practice participant Thursday, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports. Williams maintained his activity level from one day prior as he tends to the ankle injury that forced him to miss a brief spell of this past Sunday's loss at Carolina. Coach Sean McVay noted Wednesday that Williams was among a group of injured Rams that he expected to suit up Sunday in Arizona, per Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register. Friday's practice report thus may clear Williams outright for Week 14 action.

  • Rams' Kyren Williams: Limited Wednesday, expected to play Sunday

Coach Sean McVay said Williams (ankle) will be limited at Wednesday's practice, but he expects the running back to play Sunday at Arizona, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports. Williams missed some time during this past Sunday's loss at Carolina to have his right ankle examined, but he resumed play after halftime and finished with 13 carries for 72 yards and one touchdown while not hauling in his only target on a 67 percent snap share. Meanwhile, fellow RB Blake Corum had seven carries for 81 yards and one TD on 33 percent of the plays. In five games since the Rams' Week 8 bye, Williams' offensive snap count has ranged between 66 and 69 percent on four occasions, while the fifth (Week 10) was slightly lower at 59 percent. Assuming he's able suit up this weekend, Williams should continue to earn a majority share of the backfield reps over Corum.

  • Rams' Kyren Williams: Ankle feeling pretty good Monday

Coach Sean McVay said Williams' ankle is feeling "pretty good" Monday after the running back briefly exited Sunday's 31-28 loss to the Panthers, Nate Atkins of The Athletic reports. Williams was injured in the second quarter but started the first series of the second half and finished Week 13 with a 13-72-1 rushing line on 67 percent of the offensive snaps. Blake Corum rushed seven times for 81 yards and one touchdown on 33 percent of the snaps. If Williams would need to miss any time, Corum would be an immediate plug-and-play fantasy RB1 for next Sunday's game against the Cardinals. It sounds like Williams avoided any sort of serious injury.

  • Rams' Kyren Williams: Back in Sunday's contest

Williams (ankle) returned to Sunday's game in Carolina, Dan Graziano of ESPN.com reports. Williams missed the second-to-last offensive play for the Rams in the first half to have his right ankle examined and was considered questionable to return after halftime, but he was back on the field for the team's first snap on offense of the second half. He'll look to build upon the seven carries for 39 yards that he had prior to his exit.

  • Rams' Kyren Williams: Departs Sunday's game

Williams went to the locker room Sunday at Carolina with an apparent leg injury, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports. Williams removed himself from the game with 2:34 remaining in the first half following a five-yard run, after which trainers were examining his right leg. The exact nature of the issue isn't known, but he had seven carries for 39 yards and didn't haul in either of his two targets before his exit. Blake Corum will take over the Rams backfield for as long as Williams is sidelined.

  • Rams' Kyren Williams: Contrarian DFS Play

This is a risky play, which is why it is in the contrarian section. But the Rams are big favorite and averaging 27.8 points per game. There is a chance every week that he scores two touchdowns, even if Davante Adams has been stealing those red zone looks so far this year. The Panthers have given up seven rushing touchdowns to running backs in their last five games.

  • Rams' Kyren Williams: Quiet day in blowout win

Williams took 12 carries for 54 yards and caught two of three targets for 11 yards in Sunday's 35-7 overseas win over Jacksonville. Williams' managers suffered a casual stat line in Sunday's one-sided affair after the Rams' passing attack accounted for all five of the team's trips to the end zone in London. The veteran starter's even carry split with Blake Corum (12-37-0) can also be attributed to an unfavorable game script, with six of the backup's carries essentially coming in garbage time. Williams has been a reliable starter in fantasy in 2025, generating 638 yards from scrimmage and five total touchdowns through seven starts. A lack of scoring is the only thing holding the 24-year-old back from his first-round projections, as he is currently on pace to score 12 touchdowns after averaging 15.5 over his last two standout seasons. Williams will be looking to hit pay dirt when the Rams come out of the bye to face the Saints in Week 9.

  • Rams' Kyren Williams: Contrarian DFS Play

A workhorse running back coming off a huge week should not be a contrarian pick. But people really do not like Kyren Williams. Everyone always wants their backup to get more work. In this game, the backup may get some work because the Rams face a Ravens defense that is getting gashed by both the pass and the run. They are also one of the worst teams against pass-catching running backs. It should not be a surprise if Kyren Williams is the top-scoring running back this week, and I do not expect his roster rate to reflect that.

  • Rams' Kyren Williams: Pair of TD receptions in OT loss

Williams rushed 14 times for 65 yards and secured eight of 10 targets for 66 yards and two touchdowns in the Rams' 26-23 overtime loss to the 49ers on Thursday night. He also lost a fumble. Williams averaged an impressive 4.6 yards per carry with a long gain of 20 yards, but it was via his work as a receiver that he made the biggest impact by far. His reception, receiving yardage and target totals were all season highs, and he added his second and third receiving touchdowns of the campaign on 14- and eight-yard grabs in the second and fourth quarters, respectively. However, the star running back's night ended on quite the sour note, as he was stuffed on a fourth-and-1 play that ended the game. Williams notably logged 13 more carries than backfield mate Blake Corum in Thursday's loss, a reminder that the former is still the clear leader of the ground attack heading into a Week 6 road matchup against the Ravens on Sunday, Oct. 12.

  • Rams' Kyren Williams: Cashes in first TD of 2025

Williams carried the ball 18 times for 66 yards and a touchdown while catching one of two targets for three yards in Sunday's 14-9 victory over the Texans. It wasn't the most efficient of games from Williams, but he rewarded fantasy managers with the only rushing score of the contest from either side. Another positive takeaway was the backfield touch distribution, with backup RB Blake Corum poaching just two touches from the starter all game. Williams entered this year's drafts as a safe RB1 option, and Sunday's results only confirm that status moving forward. Look for the Notre Dame product to continue dominating the backfield touches in a road matchup against the Titans next Sunday.

  • Rams' Kyren Williams: Reports to camp

Williams reported for the start of training camp as contract extension talks with the Rams continue, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports. Ian Rapoport of NFL Network notes that Williams could opt to hold-in and not actually practice, however. The running back participated in offseason activities after Rams GM Les Snead said in March that he wanted to "engineer a long-term partnership" with Williams. The team has made significant investments in the backfield recently, taking Blake Corum in the third round of the 2024 Draft and Jarquez Hunter in the fourth round this year. Williams, meanwhile, is entering the final year of his rookie contract after back-to-back seasons with at least 1,350 yards from scrimmage and 15 touchdowns.

  • Rams' Kyren Williams: Looking more explosive

Rams running backs coach Ron Gould said recently that Williams is looking more explosive this offseason, Wyatt Miller of the team's official website reports. "The first thing that stood out to us was his explosiveness," Gould said of Williams. "One of the things (I noticed) was just his ability to stay grounded through some of his runs that was really, really evident in the work that he's put in, so really, really pleased with that." Williams averaged a pedestrian 4.1 yards per carry on a career-high 316 rushes last season over 16 regular-season games. That marked a significant dip from his 5.0 YPC mark from the previous season. Williams also fumbled a career-high five times. Still, the Rams and Williams' agent, Drew Rosenhaus, have reportedly been discussing an extension this offseason, but the sides have yet to hammer out an agreement. Williams is facing more backfield competition this season in the form of second-year back Blake Corum and rookie Jarquez Hunter. Williams is a risky early round fantasy pick due to the lack of big-play ability and proneness to turnovers.
